Dazzled Card Creations by Jane
I love card making and sharing the creation of cards with others. I’m always looking on how to cr
My newest projects and so much fun to make! These are bigger boxes made that measure 7” x 4 1/2” x 2” deep. Once I’ve made the box, I used the Submarine Life bundle and the Trusty Tools bundle to decorate them. My newest punch “Curved Label Punch” makes the perfect opening for a ribbon handle. Now, ideas to fill them up with cute lil items.
Another fun Card making Class today with a great group of gals. Our projects were a bit time consuming but the end product was amazing. Hope I wasn’t too off the wall today! ❤️ attending also is Patty Neufang and Barbara Howton.
What a wonderful group at today’s Card Making Class. So much fun and everyone did so well on the projects! Lucky Teri Ruse won the door prize. Congratulations!! Thank you Sari Wilson for bringing your friend Kellie, and Sara inviting Teri.
Another sneak peek at 2 items we will be making in the August Card Making Class. This was used from the “Tuned In” bundle and Summer Splash cardstock. It’s gonna be a fun class!!!
Question…do you ever get a birthday card from your pet? I get one from my cats for every holiday. So, I made this doggy birthday card that can be given to its owner. Our pets, fur- babies, are part of our family.
What a great card making class yesterday. I presented them with some new techniques and they conquered. A “masking” card was fun, the butterflies were all pretty cards, and our 3rd card was created by them with scraps. They created their own designs. Thank you to all who attended!

Home at 2:00 am from my trip with Carol, but card class must go on! Small class due to illness and some attending the event tonight in our community. I guaranteed that they would be out early so they could attend as well. Still a fun class and everyone made great cards! Thank you to all attended today.

Thank you,
What do you do when stuck at home sick? The first 5 days was rest! Then I created new types of cards. Long overdue and took advantage of my shut-in time.
New ladies golf card, ladies tennis card, new fancy fold sympathy card, billiards card, and my first attempt at making a card from a napkin.
My Paper Pumpkin cards and alternatives. The kit cards with a bit of embossing and bling. Others are alternatives using pieces from the kit.
Thank you Susie Fontana Holland for being one of my “top fans”. I certainly appreciate you. ❤️
My newest card creations using numerous alcohol markers on the coloring. I love the Art Impressions stamps to give me the variety that I need.

I certainly appreciate you following all my posts.
Yesterday (and everyday) was a beautiful day. I got a surprise call to tell me how appreciative they are for all I do in the community, a surprise card in my cubby thanking me for helping out, and a surprise by a dear friend bearing gifts to me. I was overwhelmed. I love our community and help out wherever possible and try not to find fault here at OP. “Do what you love, love what you do”. Have a great day too!
Did you miss the fun Card Making Class yesterday? Well, these great people did not! Tons of fun! We made 3 exciting cards and one either a Happy Birthday or Happy Father’s Day for that special guy. On the fence about trying this out? I offer 2 classes a month on the 3rd Thursday and the 3rd Saturday of each month. Come out and find out what fun you’ve been missing.
My newest creations using Art Impressions stamps and a variety of alcohol markers. I am not a great coloring person, so a limited amount on hand. Love the variety of stamps!
My first “Stepper Box Card”. So many possibilities to fill the inside boxes with mini treats and/or gifts.

WOW what a great Card Making Class today. If you’ve never attended one of my classes, you are missing out. These gals are so much fun. Lots of laughs, joking around, and yes card making. We welcomed our beautiful Bert Macdonald back with us and she brought her famous brownies!
Thank you to all who continue to support this craft. We had a group of 17 today. ❤️
Happy Birthday to my special lil man in my life, my Grandson Finn. Love and miss you. You are so very special to me. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What a great class. A lil bit more intermediate class but we made it through it. I did not get Rhonda’s pic or Sari Wilson but next time! And we had a special guest today, Kelly, GiGi’s granddaughter.
One of the most elegant Paper Pumpkin kits that my group worked on last evening. It is the April 2024 kit “Delicate Wings”. We meet the first Monday of each month and complete our kits of a minimum of 9 cards (usually 12-15). This kit was so elegant that I gold heat embossed extra butterflies , the sentiments, and a butterfly inside.
If interested in joining us, here is the link to subscribe. Your kit will come with everything needed! Pictures in comments. Check them out!❤️

What does it feel like to be old?
The other day, a young person asked me: - What did it feel like to be old?
I was very surprised by the question, since I did not consider myself old. When he saw my reaction, he was immediately embarrassed, but I explained that it was an interesting question. And after reflection, I concluded that getting old is a gift.
Sometimes I am surprised at the person who lives in my mirror. But I don't worry about those things for long. I wouldn't trade everything I have for a few less gray hairs and a flat stomach. I don't scold myself for not making the bed, or for eating a few extra "little things." I am within my rights to be a little messy, to be extravagant, and to spend hours staring at my flowers.
I have seen some dear friends leave this world, before they had enjoyed the freedom that comes with growing old.
-Who cares if I choose to read or play on the computer until 4 in the morning and then sleep until who knows what time?
I will dance with me to the rhythm of the 50's and 60's. And if later I want to cry for some lost love...I will!
I'll walk down the beach in a swimsuit that stretches over my plump body and dive into the waves letting myself go, despite the pitying looks of the bikini-wearers. They'll get old too, if they're lucky...
It is true that through the years my heart has ached for the loss of a loved one, for the pain of a child, or for seeing a pet die. But it is suffering that gives us strength and makes us grow. An unbroken heart is sterile and will never know the happiness of being imperfect.
I am proud to have lived long enough for my hair to turn gray and to retain the smile of my youth, before the deep furrows appeared on my face.
Now, to answer the question honestly, I can say: -I like being old, because old age makes me wiser, freer!-.
I know I'm not going to live forever, but while I'm here, I'm going to live by my own laws, those of my heart.
I'm not going to regret what wasn't, nor worry about what will be.
The time that remains, I will simply love life as I did until today, the rest I leave to God.
