Bubby's BBQ

This weather is so perfect, it's got me hyped up for football season! Now, imagine kicking off the game with some habanero honey ribs, followed by unwrapping Bubby's new masterpiece, 'The Knox', loaded with tender brisket, smoked sausage, and a drizzle of OG or Sweet heat sauce, all on a soft potato bun. And let's not forget the jalapeño cream corn to keep the wife happy and the triple mac to keep the kids quiet until halftime - talk about a winning combo!

Get ready for a taste bud party at the Smithville Farmers Market this Sunday! We're talkin' 'The Knox' sandwich, packed with delicious chopped brisket, smoked sausage, and OG sauce on a potato bun. And because we're feeling extra generous, we're also dishing out brisket by the pound, Habanero Honey Ribs, smoked sausage, and a few coveted smoked chicken halves. Two weekends, two back-to-back BBQ catering gigs - we're living the dream! When work becomes a passion project, anything is possible. I'm blessed to have my wife's talented hands and my sons Halston and Knox, my trusty taste buds, by my side every step of the way.

Balancing a full-time job while turning my passion into a potential career is exhausting, but watching my wife create these side dishes y'all love and spending quality time with my boys makes it all worth it. Knowing that our business will be passed down to our two boys keeps me motivated, even after a long exhausting Friday in Austin when I know I have to come home and smoke 80+ pounds of meat and pull an all nighter. It's not just a job for me, it's my passion, and seeing people light up when they try our BBQ and do a little dance brings me joy and keeps us going. With God on our side we are pushing through and these reviews validate that we are on the right path.

I’ve officially been doing farmers markets for ONE WHOLE YEAR!!! It all started at Smithville Farmers Market and I am so grateful 🫶🏻 I’ve learned so much along the way and found a passion I didn’t know I had. After all of my trials and errors and learning new skills, I have perfected my loaves and am so proud to be doing what I’m doing. Whether you are a weekly customer or have only had one loaf, thank you. This wouldn’t be possible without you! 🤍
