Following Headlokt’s Australian Good Design Award win last year, it has now been revealed as a finalist in the 2023 Victorian Premier’s Design Awards. The team is eagerly awaiting the announcement of winners in March!
We also had a hand in some other finalists, including the radiant Project Flock bike light, and the AR segment in the Light, Colour, Humanity showcase curated by Ian Wong.

We’re so proud to be recognised for our efforts in making a positive change in how we live, work, and play. A special shoutout to Cobalt Design for their efforts in brining our vision to life, without you it could never have been possible.

Taking it back to where it all began, the team at Headlokt recently visited the Firbank Grammar School fair, where our founder Lisa was once a student! 🏫
We were invited to introduce Headlokt to visiting families and keen cyclists of all ages 👩👧👦🚲

When we developed Headlokt, we wanted to strike the balance between a helmet that is ultra light-weight and comfortable in its fit and design, with the addition of a locking mechanism that would withstand heavy force.
If you take a closer look at this image, you’ll see that the retractable lock cable is suspending 30kgs of weight! Mighty strong stuff 💪 💪
