Suzanne Casey Author
Writing has always been my passion. It is now my job title. I invite you to tag along in my journey
1 down, 13 to go.
Fun light read.
P.S. Do a local author (or artist) a favour. Leave reviews about their work so others can discover them. I do mine on Amazon.

BIRCH ISLAND
Book Launch/Lancement de Livre
I wanted to have my launches at the communities where my two daughters live in. After many attempts of trying to coordinate the two events on the same day, this is what I was able to come up with.
I hope to see you there. Yummy treats and beverages will be on site.
J'ai voulu faire mon lancement aux communautés de mes filles. Impossible de les céduler la même journée, voici le plan.
J'espère vous voir. Un goûter et breuvage seront offerts.

Thank you Allan Hudson for the biggest compliment.
From his novel: SHATTERED: The Final Act
Mon amie Angella avait partagé ce poste quelques semaines passées.
Ce fut mon projet secret, un cadeau de Noël pour mes 4 petits-enfants. Avec leurs permissions, je regarde maintenant à le faire publier.
Took me decades to face the vulnerability of it all.
To ANY author..
This post is aimed mostly towards those I don’t know personally.
Recently, I had a partial meniscectomy (shock absorber removal) done on my right knee after a really bad bicycle accident.
I listened to my surgeon’s instructions: took a 4-week convalescence and babied that leg. I made no appearances promoting my wares. I did laundry, made meals, Netflix-ed, worked on little writing projects and started the beginning of Novel #4.
So here’s my update: I’M BACK, BABY !
I go back to work Tuesday. I also have one last book appearance in 2023: Marché de Noël in Grande-Digue.
Then it’ll be the book launch of BIRCH ISLAND in Winter 2024. So stay tuned!
Thank you all. I’ve had to order 3 times this summer to restock The Quilting Bee everywhere.
We're getting to the end of the season and we're starting to run low on copies.
These are our last copies of these titles!
And I make the list, again! 🥰
I’ll be there on Sunday, 11-3.
Summer is over, although still spending a few more nights at the camper before shutting it down.
That being said, I have a few events coming up this Fall. Would love to see you.
October 1st - Partridge Island Publishing
Area 506, St John, NB
October 7th - Chapters, Dieppe, NB
October 14th- Local Authors Book Fair
Fredericton Public Library
November 26- Marché de Noël
Grande-Digue, N.-B.
And hopefully in that mix, I can throw in a Birch Island book launch. Only time will tell.
Sharing for a friend.
Long ago, in a land a short distance away, I used to be a simple cartoonist. Back in those days, I created this PCAtoons page to feature my cartooning alone. But since then, I’ve been writing fiction and find myself in need of a page for my author self. So instead of creating a new page, I’ve decided to use this one since it shares the same name as my website. So, without fur or a dew, I present to you… me. Pierre C. Arseneault. Writer and cartoonist. This banner will be the first thing I post on here to feature myself as a writer on this page while merging both my cartooning and writing.
Thank you!
The theme this week is spicy romance. If the summer can get hot, why can't we?
We have a great selection of hot, hot, hot books including; Kiss Me & Noah's Regret, Danny and MJ, Homani Tried & Homani Tested, and Stitched & Stitches.
Keep your nights hot with these books!
Next Saturday!
Thanks Allan for making this collage.
I’ve been browsing! Christmas is on its way…
pcatoons Shop | Redbubble pcatoons is an independent artist creating amazing designs for great products such as t-shirts, stickers, posters, and phone cases.
That is so neat, Emily! Good job!
My novel is finished!!
1300 words short of 60,000 words. 👍
One step closer to getting it published.
I’ve been 3 days away from home..3 days away from editing. I wouldn’t trade this moment.
Grandpuppies and I are watching The Littlest Hobo.
Today was a St John day. Went to Book Nook at Area 506 to restock their supply of Danny And MJ, as well as The Quilting Bee. Thanks to all who support my craft. Needing to restock after only two weeks…blows me away!
I even got to meet and support a new writer Sean Paul Bedell from Dartmouth, N.S.
While there, a cruise ship was leaving.
THAT was cool!
Went back to the drawing board yesterday after a lovely 12 days off.
Final edits on Chapter One are done!
62 more chapters to go. 😄
On a positive note, I’m meeting with my graphic designer on Tuesday. The ball IS rolling.
And the way it’s going, Birch Island could be in your hands in mid autumn, whereas with Danny And MJ, or The Quilting Bee, they were only available in late December.
November release could mean Christmas 🎄 gift ideas… 🎁
My body’s on vacation. My mind isn’t, yet.
I put away editing for 2 weeks, but writing continues.
Hope you enjoy this poem😁
You came into my room, this morning
You told me you wanted me
Needed me, wanted a piece of me
I heard your request
Said I wasn’t in the mood
We were receiving guests, soon
I had things to do, had to make food
But you remained persistent
You followed me around
You let me know you wanted me
You chased me like a hound
I lay for a nap
You followed me there
You wanted a taste of my skin
Wanted it bare
I ignored you and went to sleep
When I awoke, you were not happy
I was now rested and ready for you
But soon realized you had started without me
You wanted me? You got me!
I hope you’re happy
You got me first, I got you last
But smacking you against the wall was a blast!
Let vacation begin! ⛱️
It's a beautiful day, come on down and start your hero's journey.
I agree! 😁
Its all about the smell folks!
