Announcing Decemberβs challenge: . Itβs that time of the year, where we look back at what we worked on during this 2022, reevaluate, appreciate our and plan what we should do in 2023. This month weβre going to repeat 3 star poses πππ(the ones most liked, and the ones I thought were useful to repeat a second time), from each month, February to October, plus 1 new one at the endπ. Like in life, thereβs a little bit of everything: backbends, strength, balancing, inversions, hip openers, splits, side bendsβ¦ so, as we revisit these essential postures, theyβll unfold and reveal new information that we can carry onto next year and beyond. Donβt worry if you canβt do some of them, my helper, Katy and Christine, and I will offer modifications, so that nobody stays behind. For me, thatβs a personal motto so, if you WANT, weβll help you figure out what the best alternative would be. I want to create a space where you can grow, learn, experiment and participate regardless of skill, age or social construct. This month is also filled with celebrations π₯³ and distractionsπ€ͺ so ,whether you have a hard time sticking to your practice (I feel youβ¦ doing them helps me stay on track as wellππ»!), or want to see how this year has affected it, this is the perfect challenge to doπ₯! Mungkin dari kalian ada yang pernah naik kapal laut besar yang kapasitasnya 2000 penumpang ya?
Tapi.. pernah gak siih kalian melakukan yoga di atas kapal besar yg sdg bersandar ?
Kali ini Srie dan Yanti mengajak kalian untuk beryoga bareng di atas kapal Kelud. Kalian juga akan dibawa tour keliling kapal oleh perwira kapal. Makan siang sudah menanti saat kalian memasuki restoran kapal.

Announcing Novemberβs challenge: . This month is all about taking care of, strengthening, stretching and cultivating good habits for our wristsπ€π». If your wrists donβt bother you, they tend to get overlooked and people donβt warm them up, donβt know weight distribution, proper alignment or develop enough sensitivity to understand when theyβre about to fall or itβs too much. This month will cover that and then someβ¦ π€²π». The hands have an intelligence of their own and, with the feet, are usually the first points of contact with the outside worldπ. Like sentinels, they guard and protect us, theyβre extremely versatile, dexterous and can learn and adapt to any activity forced upon them. If that doesnβt scream for a month paying extra attention to them, I donβt know what doesβ¦ππ»π!! I didnβt want to do all arm balances and inversions, so I inserted backbends, hip openers, twists, particular stretches, βresting daysβπ, as well as a few new variants, to challenge our brains and make π§ and ππ» work together to figure things outπ₯. Whether you think youβre strong and are looking for ways to grow your practice, or your wrists are achy/sensitive and you have a hard time resting weight on them, this is the month for youππ». Announcing Octoberβs challenge one final time before we start: . Even though weβve done many challenges, this is the first one where weβll focus on Scorpions and how to remove their stingπ¦π! I designed this one with the idea of working its different elements separately: if you look at the calendar, thereβs a lot of emphasis on the thighs and hip flexors, thereβs also a fair amount of arches where lumbar strength is just as important as bendiness. Some poses are more known than others and each week I increase the difficulty, but keep in mind that youβll always have a doable alternative, so you can modify and adapt things accordingly. For me, itβs more important that you finish, rather than how deep you went each day. The depth comes from consistent practiceπΏ. Iβve also sprinkled a few βrestingβ days, so itβs not all backbends and itβs not only Scorpions, because itβd get too monotone (and weβd all be too sore, me included!).
Iβm confident that, if you stick with me this month, youβll have plenty of breakthroughs, and definitely an easier time with these creaturesπ¦, once weβre doneπ₯! What can I give for my country's independence anniversary today, August 17th ?
Well, especially in this challenge, I am free to do my creativity series of poses well. I can complete the final pose of this challenge session on time.
I can be consistent in my commitment. I can do my assignments and work well.

Even without the red and white symbol on my outfits, but the red of my blood, white of my bones is the love that I carry to my flesh and blood.

Merupakan salah satu cara duduk bersila yang biasa digunakan saat mengawali dan mengakhiri kelas yoga ataupun saat duduk meditasi.
Inilah pose dasar yoga yang sangat baik untuk meningkatkan fleksibilitas, memperkuat otot inti, dan memperbaiki postur tubuh, yang pada akhirnya juga dapat mengatasi nyeri otot kronis serta mengurangi stres atau kecemasan.
