**VOLUNTEERS NEEDED**
We’re building another ramp this SATURDAY, JULY 27th just south of Mexia. We will meet at 7:30am at the CESCO convenience store parking lot in MEXIA located at the corner of Hwy 14 and Tyler St. (301 N. Dr. M.L.K. Jr. Hwy). We’re getting an early start to help beat the heat. Bring a pair of gloves and a cordless drill if you have one. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to serve.

We were able to bless another family today. Many of us don’t realize how much it means for someone to be able to go in and out of their home safely. Our client was overcome by emotion when she saw her new ramp. What a blessing. 💙

We’re getting an early start to help beat the heat. Bring a pair of gloves and a cordless drill if you have one. No experience is necessary. Just a willingness to serve.

After having to reschedule twice due to rain, we were finally able to volunteer alongside our neighbors in Freestone County to build this ramp. Now, instead of difficult stairs, there is a sturdy ramp that allows the recipients to move safely in and out of their home. This family was so moved by this act of love.

Ramp Build SATURDAY, February 17th near TEAGUE. We have an opportunity to help our neighbors in Freestone County build a ramp. If you would like to participate in this build, please meet at 8:00am on Saturday, Feb. 17th in the Brookshire Bros. parking lot in Teague (220 E Loop 255).

Volunteers will meet at 10:45am at the Joe Friday’s Diner parking lot in Mexia (corner of Hwy 14 and Hwy 171) and travel to the location from there. No experience necessary. Even a 4” rise is a huge barrier to someone in a wheelchair. We were pleased to bless this gentleman today with this ramp. He had been unable to leave his home for three months.

It was another great day to build a ramp. The weather was a lot cooler and we even had a little rain. Because of donors for materials and volunteer labor, we were able to provide this amazing ramp for a family in need in a matter of hours.

No experience or tools are needed, just a willingness to help. Ramp builds typically take 2-1/2 to 3 hours to complete. Young people are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

UPDATE: the ramp build is now in Mexia. Gratefully. The gentleman in Coolidge recently got a ramp through the VA.

Our next ramp build is SATURDAY, JUNE 3rd in Coolidge for an elderly military veteran. You do not need previous experience to volunteer, just a willingness to help. Bring work gloves, and a cordless drill if you have one. Comment below if you want to volunteer or need additional information.

We will meet in the parking lot of First United Methodist Church Mexia, Texas, 203 N Canton and leave at 8:15am.

We love building ramps. The freedom given to those who are homebound but can’t afford to build a ramp is life changing. We need your help to build more ramps in our area. Typically, a ramp costs $600-$700 in materials. Our waiting list is long. Our funds are short. Please consider making a donation to help make it possible for our volunteers to build more ramps.
