HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY WONDERFUL FOLLOWERS. Im so sorry its been a while. My family and I, had a fun packed, busy Christmas and new year and have only really just got in to the swing of normality!! This weekend my Mummy, Sister, both Nanny’s and I, enjoyed a girly shopping day spending our Christmas money.

Today I went to my first Rainbow meet 🌈
It was lots of fun and I met some lovely friends.
Our guide leaders are Magpie and Moonbeam. 🐦🌙
I love trying new things and i can’t wait for next week.

💕I’m a Barbie Girl💕
We went to the cinema to watch the new Barbie Movie that my sister and I were very excited to watch. I don’t usually watch the telly at home, I use my iPad but I do enjoy going to the cinema sometimes as the screen is big. However although I enjoyed the film. I couldn’t see the screen very well as we were nearer the back and I do prefer watching animated films, so it wasn’t the most successful trip but if you haven’t you should watch it, it’s good 💗

I lost my first tooth. It was a big thing for me as I don’t like change or letting go of things. My tooth had been wobbly for so long and my adult tooth has already come through, so I was brave and let my mummy pulled it out. I got £5 from the tooth fairy 🦷🧚‍♀️

Cheers all round this morning when I managed to get dressed all by myself without any help. My mum was super proud of me!! Then at school today we had PE… turns out I forgot to put my knickers on!! 😂😂 oh well we live and learn and I’ll try again tomorrow 😂😂

We are all bursting with pride at this amazing achievement. I have been through a tough patch recently as you all know, but I’ve smashed through and only gone and earned myself the ultimate ninja award at school and was featured in the school newsletter! Very very happy 🥰

This week I’ve had gunky, itchy and sore red eyes! Thankfully my GP is super helpful and a quick phone call and confirmation of conjunctivitis, the antibiotic eye drops are waiting at the pharmacy for me!!
I am a pro at putting eye drops in which my mum is super pleased about.
Hopefully it clears up quick 👁️ 👁️

My brother Ronnie is also visually impaired. He has congenital, idiopathic nystagmus. He is definitely an everyday hero that I look up to! Today he come home from a weeks skiing holiday in Austria with his school friends. How amazing that he too doesn’t let anything get in his way ❤️ we missed him so so much!

Another amazing event with Look Sussex at The Triangle Leisure Centre we had so much fun as always making lots of new VI friends. Really appreciate these days so much 💚
My goggle’s are tinted and have my eye prescription in them which I am very grateful for and makes hours of swimming fun so much more easier and enjoyable.
I also wore my beautiful Melissa Odabash swimsuit from a close friend. How cute is it ❤️

How wamazing is this colouring book. 📕
I love to colour, but it can sometimes be hard to find colouring books that are bold and not too cluttered. If they are then I tend to get bored quickly and tired eyes.
My Auntie Leighanne got this for my birthday and I have coloured in a page every day since my birthday as I love it so much! Thank you Leighanne and Peppa Pig

So today I was asked to help out with the doctor exams at my local hospital. This consists of trainee doctors looking at my eyes and trying to diagnose all my eye conditions whilst an examiner is assessing them. Well out of the whole day, only 1 trainee doctor mentioned the word Aniridia and many barely diagnose any of my eye conditions!! Although most got the eye movement or as we no it, ‘nystagmus’ part right, which was good.
One even went as far to say my pupils were so tiny she couldn't examine my eyes!! (If you don’t know, Aniridia means no iris, so i only have GIANT pupils!! Definitely not tiny!!
My consultant knew my special eyes would confuse them! 😂
The examiner told us that my Aniridia is so rare that some of the trainees may never see it again!!!!!
Now that’s why I’m proud of my special black wobbly eyes 🖤
I received vouchers and a certificate for helping out!!

Anyone else who is VI always eat the entire apple? This is what’s left of an apple Ive eaten. My mum thinks it’s funny and probably because I can’t really see what’s the core and what’s not, so I just carry on munching away 😂 am I the only one???

We went Bowling! 🎳
When we got there the lights were down low and the neon lights turned on and I loved it ❤️
I started off using the children’s frame to roll the bowling ball down but I was determined to try it on my own!! I always try my best.

Today was my Christmas performance at school. My Mummy and Daddy sat right at the front so I knew they were there! I sang in my best voice and had a great time. Only 11 more sleeps. 🎅🏻
