Our "Saint Joseph" Crucifix, handcrafted from Michigan Cherry Wood is off to its new home. This piece was a custom-made gift from the mother-of-the-bride to her daughter and son-in-law for their future home! We used Michigan Cherry Wood because they will be getting married in Northern Michigan!

Meet the "Saint Padre Pio Artisan Bowl."

Our Inspiration of this Bowl's Name: "The Stigmata" Resemblance

This unique bowl was named after the beloved Saint Padre Pio because of the design in the bowl's wood grain that resembles the "stigmata" that Saint Padre Pio suffered on his hands and on the soles of his feet, reflecting Jesus' wounds on His hands and feet during the crucifixion.

Saint Padre Pio was a Catholic Priest who was born in Italy. He came from a devout Catholic family who was very poor. Pio had a vision of Jesus on the crucifix. Jesus had an undeniable desire to suffer for the salvation of souls, and Pio asked Jesus how he can assist in saving souls. Once the vision was completed, Pio had blood on his hands and feet, and this lasted for until the completion of his life.

In 2002, Saint Pope John Paul II declared Padre Pio as a saint.

Feast Day; September 23.

Saint Padre Pio is the patron saint of civil defense volunteers, adolescents, and stress-relief.
