Fearlessly Feminine

There is absolutely nothing you can do when another person has a mindset that is in opposition to truth, reality, or difference in perception or resolution. It is for them to sort out. Some may be successful in this area and some may live their entire lives in opposition whether it be due to hatred, unresolved issues, hurt feelings, rejection or even confrontation and consequences towards their own actions. But it is not your responsibility to fix or be someone else's punching bag. The line has to be drawn somewhere or these types of people can bring endless misery to your life.

Women, I am slowly getting back on my feet. I do mean slowly while I am slaying all kinds of obstacles but keep watch and you will see nothing will hold me back nor keep me down my path is entrusted to my Heavenly Father who has given me an all powerful guardian angels and endless army of Saints to get me through this life.

Tonight I was blessed to have dinner with two of my favorite ladies. When I got home I was so relaxed and refreshed. I was thinking how blessed I am to have friends that I never have to pretend to be something or someone else, to hold back for fear of judgement, pity or ridicule, to always get encouragement and uplifting words in an unbiased manner and most of all their unconditional love.

So prior to going to bed I open my bible and start reading here is the very first reflection I read: "all of us suffer from spiritual ailments and our Lord is waiting for us to approach Him: 'He is our physician , and he heals our selfishness, if we let his grace pe*****te to the depths of our soul. Jesus has taught us that the worse sickness is hypocrisy, the pride that leads us to hide our own sins. We have to be totally sincere with Him. We have to tell the whole truth, and then we have to say, ' Lord, if you will ---and you are always willing---you can make me clean.'(Matt 8:2)

My Lord you never seize to amaze me at how you speak to me in my life. I think this reflection speaks to everyone. I realized tonight that when I struggle with truly examining my conscience, sin, or try to manipulate these thoughts with God as if a chess game there is no need to put up a guard. When we can be as open as we are as in such friendships we are blessed with. We will be elevated to a whole other level of freedom, happiness and refreshment. Just as friendships like these are food for the soul, Jesus our friend, is eternal life to the soul.

It was no accident as I encountered an phenomenal speaker last week at the Women of Christ conference. Her name is Sonja Corbitt. Her talk was mainly on forgiveness amongst many other topics she easily seemed to slide into her talk. At a time in my life when the uphill battle is seemingly lasting as long as a cross country trek all she said wrapped with the Holy Spirit has spoken to my heart and I am still meditating on 3 pages of notes from her. The fire has been stoked and I am ready to stop making excuses for not having time to answer the calling on my heart. So I will start by example of LOVE, share my story, my lessons from past and present, knowledge gained and welcome you all to teach me in return from your stories and lessons learned in life. Afterall, we are all called to help one another to attain the glory of our heavenly home that awaits us all for eternity. Let's show the way, share the truth and prepare for that eternal life! My dear sister in Christ shared this with me the other day, so I am passing it on. It was another Godcidence, with all I have been juggling lately and my sentiments of just longing for silence and being in His presence, this really hit home. I know I am not the only one out there. Hope it hits home for you too.

If only women of the world realized Mother Mary is the one, true, and only example of TRUE FEMINISM the world would be a better place.

Happy Sunday Everyone! May you all have a restful day! It has taken me quite a few decades to really embrace Gods commandment to rest on the sabbath. I was always cleaning, shopping and playing catch up. I have come to realize God wants us to share in all, even resting and looking back on all your blessings on your day of rest. What doesnt get done on Sunday will wait, no frett. TAKE IN YOUR DAY OF REST AND COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS!

These pictures came up on my memories today. I am truly blessed to have met all these phenomenal women thru my nursing job! Women if you havent expressed gratitude to your fellow workers today do it. I have learned so much from them and many more fellow female workers. Truly they are my 2nd family some have drifted off as the seasons of our life but have left an indelible mark in my soul, they are my soul sisters!
