Jacob Koppel “Kupper” Bier Family

Kupper Bier, my great great grandfather was apparently a pioneer in the Jewish community in Hoboken, NJ around the turn of the century. He owned a kosher butcher shop, J Bier and Sons at 85 Grand Street. Kupper came to the United States from Sololof, Austria/Ukraine circa 1892. To the best of my knowledge, he had 13 children, and the Bier descendants have thus grown exponentially. My goal is to try my best to put together a comprehensive family tree. It humbled me to think that at any moment, I might be unknowingly interacting with a distant cousin. Of the 13 children, I am the great grandson of Kupper’s son Charles who’s son Milton is my mother Jan’s father. Please reach out and help develop the tree.
