ATTENTION my lil munchkins, I have a rough idea of a date I’d like to set for my first ever ‘You’ll Be Okay Project’ event before I can start releasing tickets (*INTERNAL SCREAMING*) 🤭🙀

BUT I need your help and opinions on the last final details before I go nuts 🏃‍♀️

After all, this event is for YOU which means your input matters. I’d love to know any final activities, ideas, ticket budget, date etc. that work best for you guys 🌈🫶

Okay okay okay, if you know me you know that I have A MILLION ideas and A MILLION things going on all the damn time 🌪 You’ll Be Okay project to me, is a movement. It’s a safe space. It’s a passion project. With all these things, they take a lot of time and a lot of trial and error before you even start 👩🏽‍💻 With everything going on at the moment, I haven’t had the time this project deserves to give it all my love and dedication. With that being said, I’m working very hard on some things in the background to bring this baby to life and make a change (big or small) to someone’s life 🧚🏽‍♀️ You guys have been sooo patient with me and for that, I owe you the world 🫶🏼 I want this project to be the best value for my girls and organised the right way instead of being rushed and half finished when I’m ready to launch 🚀 Great things take time and for now, I’ll be taking a little break on this page until I’ve got all the back end things ready to go. I’d really appreciate if you all could still keep following this page and show your support. I’ll be back before you know it and the first event will be up up and away and we can go on this journey together, hand in hand 🤝🏽🕊

We’re all guilty for saying ‘I did nothing’ when we simply couldn’t bring ourselves to do what needed to be done in a day ✔️🛀🏽 Some days, it can be a little harder to focus, work, run errands etc. but instead of looking at it as a day wasted, look at it as a day you owed to yourself 🫶🏼 On days like these, our minds and bodies are telling us it’s time to take a break. So be gentle with yourself, be kind to yourself and allow yourself to have mental health days like these here and there without feeling guilt 💆🏽‍♀️ I promise you, you’ll come back with a spring in your step ready to take on what tomorrow has to bring 🏃🏽‍♀️💪🏽🤍 Reposted from Jo Kendall 🌸

MOVEMENT IS THERAPY! ‼️ Ever notice that ecstatic feeling you get during and after exercising? 🏃🏽‍♀️ This is your body releasing a hormone called ‘Endorphins’. Get your hot walks in where you can girlies 🏃🏽‍♀️ SOOO many benefits, not just for your 🧠 but for your general health and well-being 🌞 I try to squeeze in at least 20 mins everyday to get up and go for a nice beach walk and listen to a motivational poddy with my coffee ☕️ This lil change to my morning routines has changed my mindset in the mornings and throughout the day IMMENSELY 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 10/10 recommend my honey’s 💯❣️ PS give this chicky a follow for some epic tips and content to assist with you becoming your BEST SELF! 🌺

Peep my lil period bloated belly (and yes, this is normal)🤰🏽🩸 LADIES, LET’S NORMALISE TALKING ABOUT PERIOD’S ❤️ We all get them at some point in our life and we all have different reactions to them. For myself, my period is quite heavy but usually over within about 4 days. Fortunately, I don’t get a lot of bad symptoms apart from bloating and a heaviness feeling 🥹 As you can see in the left photo, I was feeling quite heavy and bloated and in the right photo, I’m sucking that heaviness in and posing 🙆🏽‍♀️ Absolutely nothing wrong with posing and getting your angles right for a photo but I think it’s important to highlight the before and what it took me to get to that image 👀 So yes, we are women and yes, in life we experience period’s but it truly is a blessing and something so magical our bodies go through during this time (as much as they suck) 🥰 Happy period power ladies hehehe 🤝🏼❤️‍🩹

I cannot stress this enough!!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 FIND YOURSELF SOME HUMANS WHO HELP YOUR MENTAL STATE 💛💛💛 Sometimes we can get stuck in our own minds (I’ll be the first to put my hand up for this one) 🙋🏽‍♀️ When we get like this, we overthink and imagine situations and scenarios before they’ve even happened. When you find these special people who can introduce another way of thinking about a situation, hold them close to your heart and cherish them 🥰 I’m so blessed to have such a beautiful family, close knit friend group and partner who help me when I get a little stuck in my way of thinking. Find YOUR PEOPLE; I promise you, they’re out there and it’s GAME CHANGING ☁️🤍

Life can get pretty damn tough at times that’s for sure 🥹 One thing I always tell myself is that without these hard times, how can we learn to appreciate the good ones? 🌈 We all need rain to grow, just like flowers do 🌧 Always come back to your roots when you’re down 🌼 What are you grateful for? What can you do in this moment to pick yourself right back up? What can you do right now to feel like you’ve achieved something (even if it’s something small like getting out of bed)? There’s a million questions you can ask yourself but the most important thing is that you STAY STRONG babies and remember, this too shall pass 🤍

SOCIAL MEDIA VS REALITY 🥹 This one’s a biggie gals!!! 🫶🏼 What you see on social media is literally a HIGHLIGHT REEL of someone’s life. We’re all guilty of comparison, including myself 🙋🏽‍♀️ The proof’s in the pudding. The first pic is me all, glammed up ready for a photoshoot. My makeup is done, my hair is done, I fake tanned the night before, photos are professionally taken, edits are applied and BOOM that’s what you see on social media 🧚🏽‍♀️ Magic right? The other images are me just on an average day, sleepy eyed, just waking up and in my ‘working from home’ fit in slippers, socks, no pants, no makeup. Just all natural me 🥰 Absolutely NOTHING wrong with getting all dressed up and feeling like a queen and posting those pics on social media but just remember, we all have a beautiful, natural look majority of the time too 🤷🏽‍♀️💃🏽😹 EMBRACE IT MY LOVES!!! 🤝🏼🤠

How you start your day is EVERYTHING babies! 🌅🌈 From what you tell yourself as soon as you open your eyes to what you nourish your body with 🍓🍌 For so long I’ve struggle getting into a structured morning routine (working from home is a challenge to say the least) 🌙 For about a month or so now I wanted to find a reason to get excited to wake up and start my day - I’ve started going to my fave coffee shop every morning and going for a short walk along the beach and listening to a motivational podcast ☕️🌴 🎶 This now gets me literally jumping out of bed thinking about that first sip of warm coffee on my lips 👄🥹🥰 Find something to get excited about when you wake up to yet another blessed day to be alive … 🌞💛

Let’s talk skin … 💭 My skin hasn’t been as clear as it is in the first image in YEARS 🥹 Swiping across you can see my skin was on struggle street and my confidence levels were at an all time low. Personally, I’m someone who likes to look for natural alternatives first to try and cure any health concerns I’m having. With that, a few years ago I made my first visit to my amazing Naturopath Kerri Abbott Naturopath/Nutritionist 🌱 My issues to start with were all related to poor gut health and within a few weeks, my skin was on the mend. The second time my skin severely broke out was about a year ago and I went and saw my Naturopath again and this time, my hormones were wreaking havoc on my skin 🙄 Once again, a few hormone tests and natural supplements later, my skin was on the mend 🫶🏼 Today, I really try and drink HEAPS of water, eat as healthy as I can (with a treat here and there of course), conduct regular exercise, aim for 7-9 hours of sleep every night and let the sun lay on my face a little everyday (not too much as we don’t want sunburn) 🍅👎🏼 We all go through some kind of skin issues throughout our life as our bodies change but I’d really like to urge you all that it doesn’t DEFINE YOU! I get it. It’s a struggle. Most days I’d cry about my skin and wishing it would clear up when I’d wake up in the morning but never give up and keep doing what you can to nourish our bodies. They’re our temple babies 🤍 Again, I’d like to thank Kerri Abbott Naturopath Nutritionist and Tara Cumner from Wholelife Wellness Centre for playing a part in getting my skin back to its glowy self ✨ Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions regarding my skin journey 🦋 YOU’RE ALL BEAUTIFUL MY ANGELS! 👼🏽

Be someone who … LISTENS 👂🏼 Listen to what someone has to say; has to vent. Sometimes all someone wants is someone to cry to, rant to, to get all the madness out. Be that someone for them. Be someone who … HEALS 🪐 Don’t get yourself stuck in a rut. Unfortunately in life, there are times where you feel on top of the world and times when you feel like curling up in a ball and sobbing all day. Both are a part of life. It’s all about being in those feelings and letting yourself cry and then getting the heck back up and living life again. Accepting all types of feelings. Be someone who … GIVES ✋🏽 Never ever stop giving. Give your love, give your service, give your kindness. The world always needs people who GIVE so long as you know your limits 🤞🏽 Never stop being a good human 🤍
