This sweet girl needs lots of help! Please consider donating

This sweet girl came to us over the weekend. We were not aware of her condition (very thin and little muscle along with a few abrasions) sedation and travel were very hard on her. Today she is finally back on her feet and fighting to recover. We have put a lot into her medical care and enclosure and would love to raise funds to get her some enrichment items, bedding, and treats.

What a bit of TLC and Constant Vet care can do in 3 short weeks! Nugget went from skin and bones and unable to walk after a traumatic birth to this chunky wild boy! We are so thankful for alll our vet has done for us! Footloose Veterinary Services rocks!!

Sweet Sweet Chance. The pup behind the name. These pictures are hard to look at, even for me. Chance was born sick, we belived he had a liver shunt. He came into my care at 9 weeks old yesterday, after his owners contacted me needing help after giving him their best. He immediately got additional vet care, from the best vet around. The liver shunt had caused atrophy in his back end, and a newborn preemie diaper swallowed him. Honestly, my first thought seeing him was, this dog needs to be euthanized. Ill tell you what though, I picked him up and he “barked” at me and looked me in the eye. I knew then I would give him everything I had.... he made it through the night and I took him to work with me today. He did good until about 3:30 pm when wr noticed something wasnt right. We rushed to get the vet after myself not the other vet tech could not find a heartbeat. Sadly, she couldn’t either and pronounced him dead. 2 HOURS later I get home and prepared a burial spot. I said a prayer for his little soul, and as I went to lay him in his hole, he started whining. I rushed him back to the vet and we made recitation efforts. Sadly he was brain dead at that point. Little man was humanely euthanized by our wonderful vet. He no longer suffers from all that ailed him, and he passed away warm and with a full belly, which is what gives me the most comfort♥️

*He is alive in all of these pictures, that ws just the shape he was in from his condition*

Sweet Nugget! This little wild thing hasnt always been so wild! He was taken by C-section when his mama couldn’t birth him normally because of her size. Nugget was stuck in the birth canal for a while before the emergency vet was able to intervene. Unfortunately that means he was oxygen deprived. He was not able to walk, or latch properly on a ni**le for 3 days after birth. No one thought he would make it. After 3 weeks of around the clock care , Nug is THRIVING! He even got to go kayaking, yes, kayaking over the weekend and he loved it!

Stewies story! This sweet boy was found at the bottom of a large tree after a storm with no sign of mama. He was brought to a local rehab friend of mine by a good samaritan. His intake exam showed us he wasn’t quite normal. Turns out sweet Stew had down syndrome and a cleft pallet. He was fed around the clock and became quite popular with friends and family. I had him over 2 weeks when one night I got him out like normal, or at least what had become our normal. He crawled up under my neck, went to sleep and passed away peacefully.
Had he been left where he was found, he would have likely starved to death or eaten without a chance to survive. In my books, this was a success. He passed warm and with a belly full of milk ♥️
