I'm so glad that the weekend is over. I love spending time with my family and friends, but it's always nice to be back at work. I'm ready to get back into a routine again, and I like setting goals for the week ahead of me.

What are your goals this week?

When you're looking for a house, there are a few things you need to consider. 🏡 Here are a few things you should look for:

Location: How close is it to your workplace? Does it have good access to public transportation? Is it in an area where you feel safe? 🚘

Site: After you have decided that you like the home's location, you will want to look at the site. Is it on a hill with a view? Does it have a lot of stairs to climb? Do the neighbor's windows face your home? Make sure you thoroughly inspect the site before committing to a property. ⛰

Neighborhood: Is this neighborhood where people are friendly or unfriendly? Is it safe for kids (and pets)? What does it look like at night—are there streetlights and sidewalks or not? 🏘

Floor plan: How many bedrooms do you need? How many bathrooms? Do you want an open floor plan or would you prefer separate rooms? What type of kitchen appeals most to you—is it traditional or modern? 🛋

Condition: Are there any structural issues with the house that could be costly to fix later on down the line? 🛠

When it comes to buying your first home, there are a lot of things to consider. You want to make sure you’re going into this with your eyes wide open so that you can make an informed decision. I hope these 5 tips are helpful to you!

1. Establish how much you’d want to spend on your first home.

2. Ask yourself if this house will be your forever home or investment home?

3. Make sure to get pre-approved for a loan before you start looking or placing an offer on a home. Don’t forget to shop around for a mortgage lender and compare the interest rates and fees using free tools online. Lenders will be able to tell you how much purchasing power you have.

4. Spend however long it takes to find a fitting house, whether or not it is an investment home. I know people who looked at over 100 properties before purchasing their first one.

5. When you buy a house, there are many things to consider, from the neighborhood to the size and layout of the home. But one of the most important decisions you'll make is who will represent you in your real estate transaction. A real estate agent can guide you through the process, help you find a home within your budget, schedule visits, negotiate with sellers on price and terms, and even help get financing and complete contracts.

- make time for exercise
- try eating a balanced diet
- give meditation a try ( im still working on this)
- write in your journal ( i use the app mydiary)
- create a habits list ( i use the app habit to track my habits)
- read a book
- spend some time in nature
- make a vision board (to remind yourself what you want daily)
- practice kindness
- avoid the comparison trap
- examine your values
- get to know yourself
- do what you love
