The Northdale Siva Nyana Sabha Feeding scheme aims at assisting all those underprivileged people within our community with a hot meal for the day.Our moto is Charity with dignity. The feeding scheme was started in 2015 by the members of the Northdale Siva Nyana Sabha Temple in Chetty Road, Northdale and has been ongoing since then. Our Feeding scheme group unites every Saturday to prepare a hot meal of vegetable breyani which is then packed and served immediately to the people within the community. The group would travel by vehicle to each house delivering the meal at the doorstep of the resident’s house having full covid protocols in place. Each Saturday 5 decks of breyani is freshly cooked by volunteers. Not only does the group sponsor a meal but during certain times of the year the group assists with food hampers to underprivileged families . In no way is this page aimed on satisfying anyone’s ego but rather to gain more sponsorships so that we can continuously assist the community. “Even if you just change one life, you’ve changed the world forever. “by Mike Satterfield
