What an unbelievably special weekend for Indianapolis electronic music... I'm so proud of the IndyMojo Presents team and all the work they put into making Camp Terror a reality.

It felt like the ultimate Halloween party - and I love bringing a little light into the monster mash.

Feeling crazy inspired to cook up a bunch of new music over the winter!

For my fellow music nerds 🤓 I'll be doing an Ableton Live music production workshop at Soundspace here in Indy this Wednesday at 7pm.

There will be a complete rundown of the EMOTIONA live rig including Vocals, Piano, Cello, MIDI, and Drums - as well as a handful of stories about face planting on stage, gear melt downs, and nearly ruining multiple shows...

It's really just an excuse to meet up with friends for a cold one while promoting my next big show on Aug 17th here in Indianapolis (DM for details 😎)

I'm insanely excited to announce that I'll be opening up for TRIVECTA at The Vogue here in Indy on Saturday Feb 18th!!

Watching him explode over the past few years while opening up for my favorite artists like Seven Lions and ILLENIUM has been amazing - so for me to be opening up for him now feels crazy!

Doors open at 8 and I'm guessing I'll be on super early, so get your get your dancing shoes ready and lets TURN UP!!

It's been a super powerful track for and I and it feels really great knowing that it's out there resonating in the music streaming ether.

VERSION 1 of the EMOTIONA live rig was the Ableton Push 2 and Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol A61.

There was this crazy Blue podcast mic stand attached to it with a two-tier On Stage keyboard stand as well.

The idea was there, but it was a little too bulky. I wanted to setup behind "normal" DJs in a club environment without being too slow and annoying.

I also wanted to be able put everything in a flight case if or someone ever asked me to play their festival in Mexico.

VERSION 2 was much more consolidated and collapsible - with the Akai APC40, Novation Launchkey37, and the Alesis Samplepad4.

I also saw or using this super compact mic stand called the AirTurn GoStand - and had to pick that up as well. It's insane and perfect for traveling.

And that's where we're at today, which is pretty exciting. I even plugged my laptop audio into the CDJs for the first time at the last show with , which felt pretty wild!

Like in that moment, I was almost like a real DJ or something 😆

Well not really, I'm just EMOTIONA - and I like to sing and play instruments live, in my own way. I do love electronic music though and getting to play with, and for my friends, is one of my most favorite things... it fills me up like nothing else.

Here's to continuously evolving our lives, sounds, and instrument racks.

Felt so good getting to play this brand new set in front of so many of my favorite people. and absolutely nailed the production - and it was so cool getting to see here in Indianapolis.

killed it with and Gizzmo as well - I feel like that's a whole scene that's about to pop off, so I can't wait to tap in more with them.

Lots of new music coming this year - and really I've just been letting it come out naturally. Not forcing anything, not killing myself - just listening for the next sound and call to action.

Also just downloaded the studio essentials sample pack. Might hang out around 130 beats per minute for a bit and see how that feels. It's something like a life goal to make a Trance EP someday - so maybe now is that time??

Also working on some special remixes for the show next month with ! Super stoked for that.
