Lesson 7:

Make that move. Your breakthrough might be waiting for you at that place you dread most to go.

In an experiment, a small hole 🕳️ was dug at the sea shore just very close to the ocean and the hole 🕳️ was then filled with water. A fish is then put in the water. It was swimming in that little pool of water comfortably and satisfied. Between this pool of water and the sea was the ground covered with sand. After sometime, the fish dared what may seem to be impossible. It swam out of the pool of water to the ground. As it was struggling and gasping for air as it was already lacking water, there came an ocean wave that washed it away into the ocean. There, it was dawned on it that life did not end in that little pool of water in that little hole. It had a wider space to swim and more food to eat.

In reality, comfort is the enemy of progress. Until you get tired with your current status quo, until you dare what may seem to people around you as impossible, until you leave that your comfort zone, until you leave that your family house where you get FREE food and living rent free, until you become uncomfortable with being comfortable, until you despise negative comments and advice from people, your life will never change.

In 2024, dare yourself to try out something new, dare yourself to move out of your comfort zone. You may not know what awaits you at the other side of the wall.

Lesson 6:
No man has ever made it alone. Don’t be a Lone Ranger.

There’s always a saying, “if you want to go fast, go alone; but if you want to go far, go in group”. It is okay to select your circle of friends but it is not okay to be alone. Being alone makes you to either be too out of info, assistance, opportunities or labour too hard for something that would have been easier for you to get with people by your side.

Here, I know people that had to leave because they were unable to find a job and I also know people who were on the verge of being deported for lack of jobs until they cried out for help to everyone they know, and today, not only are they gainfully employed but are also able to renew their stay by applying for a WORK PERMIT.

In businesses, I have never seen any successful businessman or woman who did it alone. Do not be deceived that you can do that. You can never grow bigger than your capacity. Even thieves operate in gangs for a reason.

In 2024, if you must improve your life, surround yourself with quality people and try to complement one another’s weaknesses.
