What a magical and fun morning at TLC's Breakfast with Santa at the Senior Center hosted by the amazing Swampscott Recreation. The building was filled with full bellies, lots of crafts, laughter, and cheer! We loved our balloon decor from Happy Joy Balloons. The children entered the building with such excitement when they saw our balloon frosty and holiday decor by Santa. πWe loved every moment we got to observe when Santa Bob brought smiles and excitement to so many little faces. Thank you to all the volunteers who made today possible! A big shout out to our awesome middle school NJHS members and highschoolers who came out to run the craft stations and help us set up/clean up.

This is such a great experience for our volunteers and the children we visited were so excited to see our Santa and get a gift they told their teachers they hoped Santa would bring them! Thanks to all the community who purchased items on our wishlist this season or dropped gifts off in our TLC bins around town because of your support this day is so special.

Each gift provided, students at the highschool who get involved in TLC help us wrap these presents for our community and local organizations, and also get the opportunity to wrap specific gifts for a local daycare for families who benefit greatly from our support. Our students wrap requested gifts that the children hope to get from βSanta.β We then bring our TLC elves and our very own Santa to deliver those gifts.

TLC has begun!π
π€Ά We are excited to start wrappingπ to help support our students in our community and local organizations seeking our help.
We have already been able to support 67 of our students through our sponsorship program.β€οΈπ We right now have over 30 more students who attend the public schools whose families are seeking support from us for gifts this holiday seaaon.
What does sponsoring entail:
Providing gifts and/or winter gear for a local family in need. A TLC Coordinator will provide you with a toy wishlist and specific winter needs for an anonymous family. Sponsoring a family can be on your own or a group effort (neighbors, work groups, etc).
If you are interested in sponsoring a specific families gifts for the holiday season, please email [email protected] and she will be able to provide you more specific details.
Other ways to support!
Be on the look out at our local stop & shop, police station, and public schools for TLC boxes where you are always welcome to stop by to drop off a new unwrapped toy to help us with supporting our community.
Additionally shortly after Thanksgiving we will be posting an Amazon wishlist of specific items we still need to help us fulfill our gift requests for specific children this holiday season.
This has been a busy week for TLC but we have been blown away by all the support Thank you to the police department, Salon D, the fire department, and the VFW. Your toy collections blew us away! TLC is so grateful and couldn't help so many children and families without the support of you all in town.
