A very warm and illuminating Good Evening from the Perfect Scentz Team. We are sorry things have been quiet recently. Our little elves have been busily working away to get everything up and running.
We are pleased to advise an updated list of our currently expected launch day scents. These are currently confirmed as:

We will also only be initially launching with Small and Medium Jars at the moment. We will be looking to add Wax Melts and hopefully a Large Jar size in the very near future. We will also be adding further Scents as we progress forward. We may look at a soft launch via Etsy initially whilst we work to get the main website up and running. We also have further ideas now in regards to complimentary products, we are even going to go a step further and try to match these complimentary products so that they tie in with each and EVERY scent we offer. And so The "Complimentary Product Range" for Lemon Meringue Pie would feature heavily around just that, a Lemon Meringue Pie. We are currently looking to include items such as Candle Stands/Coasters and Large Table Placemats/Feature Pieces, and each and every scent will have its own unique "Complimentary Product Range" created. Allowing customers to be able to create their own, unique, one of a kind display/decoration/Table piece for dinner party spreads etc. Absolutely bespoke, All handmade, all one off, unreplicatable items of beauty. We will keep the page updated with progress. The complimentray product range will not be until end of Year/early next as theres a TON of stuff to get created and organised for that part. However for candles, please bear with us, we are working through further wick testing on scents. Unfortunately theres a massive amount of groundwork that needs laying before anything even remotely exciting begins to happen. We hope your patience and excitement will be more then satisfied once we finally Launch. Its got to be as physically close to Perfect as possible, its got to be "Perfect Scentz".

Whats your Favorite Scent?

We would like to ask for your opinion of what fragrances you are generally drawn towards. Please let us know from the list of standard scent types below as to which you normally prefer.
We would also value any suggestions of smells you just generally may like, for example, Lavender, Vanilla etc etc, but please not "Fuzzy Mountains" or "Reindeer Horns" because im unfamiliar with those scents :-).

Please let us know A: Your Favorite Scent type from the list (or one you LOVE and maybe a Second). But also if possible, B: Your LEAST Favorite scent type from list or smell you really hate, mines Cloves for example.

All made in the last 7-10 days

Was going to do another 3 batches last night, but after melting down it was 1am, which is normal, however last night, I was knackered lol.

Will carry on creating more testers this evening.

Broke it but the mould is perfect ❤️

Right, lets get 2 1/2 kilos of wax melting. That will allow me to do 2 of the 100ml fragrances, each to a kilo of wax and a 50ml bottle to 1/2 kilo. I measure by weight, and from current supplier, most of the 100ml have been coming up around 115g, making it appx 10% fragrance load. So thats 2 Kilos, 1 for each 100ml and 500g for the 50ml. With a Kilo I can either make 4 280ml jars (mediums) and a Mini, or 3 x 280ml and 2 x 190ml (smalls), or 6 190ml Smalls. So I have been either doing 4 Mediums, or 6 Smalls, this then allowed me to wick test on say the 4, I would use all LX type wicks however range with the wick sizing from LX20/LX22/LX24 and LX26 being the Four. OR if doing the 6 Small Jars, I would likely go with LX18/LX20/LX22 and then a different wick type and another 3 sizes as TCR 27/16 30/18 and 33/18. This would then give me a good idea of the best performing wick for that Scent type, and Vessel size. I can then remelt the wax of the 4 Medium jars, and either remake with different wicks (If appropriate wick wasnt found on first round) or remake into the Small Vessels to then test appropriate wick for that vessel size. Being the critical thinker that I am, I am trying to do this in the most efficent way, both in time and costing. This stage is unfortunately a very long, labourious part, however once we have figured the best wick for each scent, for each Vessel size, I can update all notes and begin production on whichever scent lines I chose to go with. I would only really need to do single checks on the chosen appropriate wick size, ideally everytime we get a new batch of wax in. This is due to ALL batches being slightly different to each other. And as such, this difference can be enough to cause the wick to require either wicking up, or wicking down. Again, things most wouldnt even consider, however, having researched beyond the fringe of existance, I now have this knowledge and can act upon it accordingly.

Im really looking to making this a BIG SUCCESS, no matter how long it takes to launch. Once the testing is complete, I can start really working on production, labelling, costs, postage options, website setup, logistic programs, all the bits that make a business a success! 🙂

We will be finished testing, as soon as we can, and thats when the fun part will really begin!!!!

I can see it being a tough task whittling down to what I may incorporate into our product lines. Im hoping to be impressed, they certainly sound (and cost) a higher premium. Im seeing some potential Luxury lines in the listing, but until I create, cure, and then burn for end result, its all anyones guess.

Fragrance Oils can be a bit like that, what you smell out of the bottle can be COMPLETELY different to how it will smell as cold throw, and even how that will then be as hot throw. Sometimes, the High notes drown out the lower, or whichever Low, Mid or High notes contains the strongest fragrance, in concentrate, it drowns out the rest. The only true way to tell is to make, wait, and light.

But even with a long journey ahead, I am super excited!!!

We are looking to launch a High Quality Scented Candle and Associated products business.

This is currently in the very early testing stages. We perform very indepth, rigourous safety and performance tests on all of the scents we will be offering, in each of the various vessels.

We are unfortunately still in the early stages of testing and have a great many scents to performance test.

Please bear with us whilst we work frantically to accomplish each task that is still required completion before we get closer to launch.

We have recently acquired a quite extensive range of new fragrance oils which we are awaiting arrival to begin labourously testing through each scent.

Once this is complete, we will be able to narrow down and finalise our Product Line

We have some incredibly exciting things planned for our upcoming venture and would love for you to join us for the journey.
