Today is Friday and for those hardcore Catholics. I made a seafood stir fry with shrimps, mussels and octopus. Soy sauce with a hint of sugar. Plus all fresh vegetables. It was so yummy.
Cooking during covid19 Code Red lock down. Enjoy.
Some
home style cooking. Royal banana cake with fruit and homemade corn beef hash with a fried egg, gravy on the side.
Salt beef (povi masima). Braised and then baked with a savory and sweet sauce over a bed of potatoes, carrots and corn on the cob.
Shoyu Chicken and chicken curry. Yum
First Sunday Toanai meal in a while. Pork in black beans and chili sauce, pasta salad with avocado, baked taro and palusami. Asian and Samoan cooking. Yum!
Good old trifle with a new flare. My version, deep cake, mixed fruit cocktail, strawberry preserves, crushed peanuts and fresh cream. Layered in a glass bowl and topped with fresh whipped cream with milk chocolate drizzle. Yum. I also add Grand Marnier liquor for the adults. Lol. Merry Christmas.
Made a nice savory fish (wahoo) and mussel meat curry. Served with tomato chutney and rice. Yum.
Lamb neck soup. Yum.
