Want to make it to the closing table? Nothing kills a real estate transaction quite like financing being rejected at the very last minute. It's frustrating, disappointing, and potentially very costly for both parties.

One thing to remember is as a buyer, it is SO IMPORTANT that you don't make any big purchases or open any new lines of credit (credit cards, personal loans, etc.) from when you get pre-approved until AFTER you close on your house!

I know it can be tempting to want to start buying furniture and decor to fill your new house with, but if you want to actually get to move into that new house hold off. And for the love of all things holy - please don't buy a car!! I can't tell you how many times I've seen buyers go out and get a new car and then be denied funding.

You're eyes aren't playing tricks on you! Inventory of existing homes is down 45% from this time last year. 🤯 If you’re currently in the market for a home, I know that you're feeling that constriction! Especially if you're from Texas and wanting to buy in Texas but are competing with the influx of out of state buyers coming in and paying way over asking.

We're setting records thanks to low interest rates and limited inventory that are fueling these record breaking sales prices. Some homebuyers are struggling with declining affordability amid the lack of inventory, and are being forced to wait it out in hopes of more listings and less competition. It’s tough out there.

I can't tell you how many houses I've taken clients to with dirty windows and it is off-putting to the buyers. This is a really easy way to enhance a buyer's experience in your home.
