I’m Sergei and a hand poke tattoo artist with about 20 years of experience in tattooing and 4 of them in hand poke. I have strongly aligned with the original purpose of applying tattoos, and for me it’s much more than tattoos but the whole sacred ritual with a special tattoo.
Im strongly believe that Handpoke tattooing as a traditional way of applying a tattoo is a sacred process, applying something which will be with you for life, transiting energy directly from hand to the body and can be supportive in your journey. I’m inspired by ancient tattooing practices and symbolism and making individual designs according to the personal preferences and beliefs of how it has been for thousands of years of history of applying tattoos. For the tattooing process we start with a ceremony, setting an intention, connecting to our own center and charging the space and the process with our energy, and then we apply the tattoo, each mark made with intention and power.

DAY 1

Sahil Aneja, Based in Delhi, this accomplished dance professional has been dancing and teaching for over two decades. With a passion for continuous learning and cultural exchange, they have traveled across the globe to both learn and teach. Their impressive journey includes notable appearances on TV reality shows, such as DID Season 3 in 2012 and Dance Plus Season 1 in 2015.

Currently serving as the Director of Brooklyn Academy of Dance & Arts, located in Delhi, they have established it as a renowned institution for Hip-Hop and street style dance classes and courses. Their dedication to the art form and commitment to fostering talent make them a significant figure in the dance community.

Aman Gupta (.man) is a 'MOVEMENT ARTIST', trained in many movement practices including Dance, Yoga, Breathwork, Somatics, Body Percussion, and Functional & Dance Fitness. He has been working as a multidisciplinary dance artist, movement educator, and choreographer for the past five years. He is an intuitive and skilled performer who thrives on the collaborative process of creating work. He uses a fusion of different dance vocabulary and the emotional body to explore and investigate artistic practices to create experimental choreographic work. His vision is to strengthen the link between people's minds, bodies, and actions, so they can connect deeply with themselves through movement practices.

In percussion instruments, vibrations are produced by hitting, scraping, rubbing, or shaking them. These techniques can also be applied to the human body. Using one's body as a musical instrument gives people a direct experience of musical elements such as beat, rhythm, and metre, and allows them to internalize rhythmic knowledge.
In the sessions, we will explore the foundation vocabulary, various rhythmic patterns, and embody them to improvise in a playful manner.

The Sacred Cacao Ceremony to kick start the Cosmic Disco journey at Goa will be facilitated by Samarth ()

His workshops and ceremonies focus on emotional healing & self-improvised versions of Meditation, Emotional Wellness and Movement Meditation practices.

During the ceremony, we will connect with our self through conscious breathing, feel a joyous opening of the heart by drinking the Sacred Cacao; then move into a guided journey of conscious connection movement meditation to connect with our own body, sensations, heart and emotions, and gradually flowing into a subtle, yet deep space of connecting with others through movement and self-expression! Nidhi Dongre () is mainly an experimental, explorative and abstract artist. She is a graduate in sociology from St. Xaviers Mumbai and is a Dance and Movement Therapy practitioner from Tata Institue of social sciences.
She is a versatile artist trained in Bharatnatyam for 16 years and a teacher with Nrityangan Academy of Fine Arts Mumbai, imparting classical dance education to all age groups. She has also trained in Contemporary Dance style, physical theatre and a martial art named Kalaripayattu just to name a few. She has performed extensively across Mumbai and the country.
Alongside being trained Nidhi is developing a model of her own, where she facilitates a safe space for people to explore and experiment with their bodies and develop a unique awareness to their own bodily or organic movements.

Guru Suraj () is an artist with a background in visual and movement arts. The curiosity of movement has led him to years of study of Contact Improvisation (improvisation movement that fosters a physical and non-physical connection with others while moving) and various somatic techniques, which investigate the mind-body connection as ways to explore one’s internal self.

Passionate about exchanging different forms of cultural expressions and experiences through art, Guru has been involved in various national and international projects as Creative/Artistic Director, Artist in Residency, organiser, and facilitator.

Together with other first Indian practitioners of CI, he founded Contact Improv India (CII) - an organization that focuses on teaching and performing CI throughout India, and making this art form accessible to everybody. Fourteen years of practicing CI has brought immense depth in sharing this form as a platform for cultural exchange, and experience in engaging a wide range of population in India.

Guru’s main focus in his artistic practice is discovering different ways of interacting with each other that are not constrained by conventions or traditions. In his teachings he bridges both the radical and the traditional. He invites to strengthen creativity, discipline curiosity, and learn through sharing different modes of communication that are beyond verbal language.

His art touches, impacts and invites for reflection in ways that are unexpected and continuously evolving.
