WHICH KIND OF GUITAR SHOULD I START WITH?
Probably an acoustic.
Starting off, an acoustic guitar may be more difficult to press down the strings on to make a sound. This is, in the long run, a good thing, because your fingers will be stronger if you have to work them harder to play. However, if you think you might quit easily, starting with electric can yield more immediate results. Also be sure to consider that a starter acoustic will probably be cheaper than a starter electric, aided by the fact that purchasing an amp is not necessary.
