Coach Nish has been with Maya since she first picked up a basketball and in the last 3 years Maya has been the perfect example of what New Age Hoops stands for. Everything from her work ethic and passion on the court to how she carries herself and treats others off the court to being an amazing mentor to the younger players in our program!

MAJOR UPDATE for our New Age Hoops Group Training sessions! 🏀🏀🏀

All Summer, our Group training sessions will now be hosted at Wilson High School… Coach Nish and Coach Alex are very excited for this opportunity!

Wilson High School Gym has 14 hoops. This is going to allow us to offer a very individualized approach to the skill development portion of our training. Being in this gym will also allow us to offer game situational training, something we think is crucial for players to really understand how to integrate the skills to the actual game.

Nothing matters more to us than helping the players we work with get real lasting results with their skills and their confidence and belief in their selves.

If you have never trained with us before or if you have trained in the past, we believe now is the best opportunity we have ever had to offer the most value within our sessions to our athletes.

Throwback to November 2021 when Coach Alex and Coach Nish had their first event together. A 3 Saturday 3on3 clinic.

Fast Forward to today we are hosting our first ever 3v3 Summer Camp August 5th - 8th.

4 days, 12 hours, and an incredible opportunity for players to improve heading into the fall.

Players will leave this camp with a better understanding of where they need to improve their individual skills as well as their understanding of team basketball both offensively and defensively.

A year ago Coach Nish and I attended the first ever Basketball Trainers Association Conference in Dallas TX.

For 2 days we got to learn from NBA coaches and some of the top basketball trainers in the world.

Basketball Training is a rapidly growing industry, and at the end of the day basketball training is to help players who love them game, improve their skills, their athletic ability and coordination, but most importantly it’s a vehicle to develop Character & Confidence in our student athletes.

There is still plenty to learn when it comes to becoming the best possible mentors to our youth, but we are proud of what New Age Hoops has grown into and where it is headed.

We are very excited to announce that our fall training registration is now available!

We offer weekly group training sessions where we provide a unique approach that challenges players, but also introduces them to a positive environment where they are encouraged to make mistakes and positively respond to adversity.

Basketball season will be here before we know and we can’t wait to help prepare our athletes both physically and mentally to have their best season yet. Thank you for the continued support!

We have 5 spots remaining for our high school boys camp that starts tomorrow!

This will be a small group and players will leave this week with a better understanding of

- how to take care of their body to prevent injury and improve athleticism
- mindfulness, meditation and visualization
- multiple ways to improve their on court skills
- most importantly players will leave with a better understanding of how important consistency is when it comes to accomplishing goals and how to create a daily training plan to optimize what they learn at camp
