New Halloween one 👻🎃

11/09/2023

First attempt at Ghost Face. I don’t hate it.

14/07/2023

I shall name him Gremlin and be done! This little guy took me 2 weeks but I love it!!

13/06/2023

One I did a few weeks ago. This one was probably the hardest one I have done but I’m proud of it. 😊🎨👩‍🎨🖌️🖼️

Worked on animals this week. Animals are hard but so much fun to do. Happy Easter 🐣🐰

Hey everyone! Again, it’s been awhile. Life just sorta happens and I get behind with things. But I have been doing more paintings. Some have taken me a bit longer to finish but I’m pretty satisfied with the outcomes. More to come soon hopefully 😊💗🎨🖌️🖼️

I haven’t posted in a bit. Honestly, I haven’t had much time recently to do a whole lot with painting. But I’m trying to get back into it on a more regular basis. But here are the last few I have done. This is what I’ve done since September. My goal is now to do at least 1 a week but hoping to do 2 or more. I miss it 😢

A mini 9x13 practice piece. Wanted to test some things before I attempted a larger one. Very happy with it but I will make some minor changes.

Got my own business cards made. My logo was drawn my hand by my daughter LilliAna. It makes them so much more special to me ❤️🎨👩‍🎨

My first ever Halloween piece. “All Hallows’ Eve”

Today it has been one year since I started my painting journey. I have tried many different techniques and styles. And have also dabbled in acrylics which is much different than oils. I do see progress but the lack of time recently to paint has taken its toll. But I’m truly happy doing it and have a passion for it. Hoping to continue to improve and never stop. Here is my very first compared to recent and favorites.

I somehow keep forgetting to post my paintings here. Not sure why. These are my 2 most recent painting. The only 2 I’ve done in the past month actually. Time just doesn’t allow me to paint as much as I’d like. I would every day if I could. But anyway, these are very different than ones I’ve done in the past. I had to follow tutorials to learn how to draw the macaw, frog, and mushroom. While I’m not pleased with the overall paintings as a whole, I’m still surprised at how well I was able to pull off the individual objects. Practice practice practice.

I’ve been very hesitant to post these because to say I am not happy with them is an understatement. These are done in acrylics (I’ve only used oils). They are vastly different and, in my opinion, much harder. But for some reason, I enjoy doing them. I’ll keep practicing with them but will stick mainly to my oils. But I decided to share them anyway. We are our own worst critics anyway.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted. I’ve been busy, not happy with some I’ve done recently, and I have quite a few unfinished ones. However, I did this a few weeks back and for some reason I forgot to post it here. It was my first oval canvas and it was all done on a black canvas. I enjoyed this one 🎨🖼💕

28/01/2022

Did something a little different last night. It’s neon acrylics but was really fun to do. Got to mix water with paint to give a watercolor vibe. Might have to do something like this again 💗👩‍🎨🎨🌸

20/01/2022

Another one done! I may be starting to get the hang of trees. 🌳🎨👩‍🎨

13/01/2022

Forgot to share this one with you all. Completed last week. Out of my comfort zone since it was acrylics and I use oils but overall, not too shabby. Love my freehand elephants though lol 😂 🐘

07/01/2022

Took a few days, but finally got this one done. I love the colors 💕🌊

I haven’t posted in a bit. It’s been busy busy busy. But I did manage to fit in these 2 commissioned paintings. They didn’t turn out as awful as I expected them to. I’m glad their new owners were happy with them 😊

06/12/2021

Most recent, and seems to be a fan favorite 💕 Thank you for all you kinds words, words of encouragement, and support. I probably would have quit by now had it not been for the many many people in my world 😊

I haven’t uploaded any pics in awhile. It’s been a busy few weeks. But here are a few of my most recent paintings.

10/11/2021

I finished this one the other night. It’s the first one in a few that there’s not at least 1 thing I hate about it. I’m pretty proud of this one. 💕🎨

08/11/2021

This is one I did the other night. I’m pretty happy with it aside from the upside down tree. 😂 I tried to make a different type of tree but it didn’t turn out so well. But, learn from mistakes and never give up trying. ♥️💕🎨

02/11/2021

I’ve felt out of my groove for a bit. I decided last night to try again. Here is what I came up with.

21/10/2021

This is, of course, unfinished. I will be adding color and more things tomorrow. But I absolutely enjoy painting in black and white and gray. I’m hoping to expand on it and be able to create pieces that are strictly black and gray and white. I just think it’s so pretty and fun to do. But, this is just a sneak peek. The rest will be done tomorrow. So stay tuned 😉🎨👩‍🎨🖼

18/10/2021

Just a simple painting. Nothing special but it’s something. It’s been about a week since I’ve painted anything so I just wanted to get one completed.

13/10/2021

Cactuses are harder to do than you would think lol 😂 🌵🏜

12/10/2021

Finally got a standing easel. So freakin excited 👏 Can’t wait to start!!! 😊😊🎨🎨

07/10/2021

Sometimes you just have to accept that you messed up or did a bad painting that will never be anything besides a waste of money sitting in a hiding spot collecting dust. Canvases can be expensive so you recycle what you can. So with a bunch of sandpaper and some base paint, these will be fresh canvases by the end of the day 🖼🎨😊

07/10/2021

My first attempt at sunrays with a bit of abstract.

05/10/2021

Did something a little different tonight. Not very impressed by it but everyone else is so I guess that’s good enough for me 😂

Proof that you can’t assume just because you did it well once that you have it mastered and will always succeed. Example below 👇

02/10/2021

I really tested myself tonight. This was literally the definition of painting blind 😂 I couldn’t see anything until I started putting highlights in. Turning my head left, right, up, down. Not too bad for my first attempt.

29/09/2021

Not to bad. An Autumn Path.

When you have a vision of something you’d like to do but not sure how to execute it, you either set it aside til you can figure out a way, or you just scrape the entire thing. Well, at least I do 😂

Winter scenes are fun to do. You can pretty much combine any color with white and you can have a pretty winter/snow landscape. Here is the order in which I’ve done winter landscapes.

I was sent a photo (top) and I wanted to try and see how I would do referencing a photo. Not perfect but it was something new 😊
