Electeds from Several Cities Get Lessons in Fire and Rescue Operations - Oakland County Times Yet a dozen local leaders from seven different communities came together Oct. 7 to get just a taste of what their fire departments do on behalf of the community.

I had the privilege of attending the Oakland County CREST Training Center for Fire Ops 101 where I simulated situations our Oakland County firefighters and EMS see on a daily basis. Fire Ops 101 allows elected officials and other government employees to see first-hand what tools and technologies our firefighters and paramedics need to help save lives.

Special thank you to Bloomfield Township Fire Department Assistant Chief Matt DeRousse and Fire Marshal Pete Vlahos for assisting me throughout the day. I am honored to represent Bloomfield Township as Trustee and am thankful for the brave people of the BTFD.

Thank you to everyone who supported me on this journey to Lansing for House District 54. It was not in the cards this time, but never count me out.

As a criminal defense attorney I stand up to the most powerful government in the world to protect the rights afforded to my clients in this great nation. I hold the government to the high burden of beyond a reasonable doubt and ensure true justice is served because in the country where I was born, raised and continue to live what's right is right and what's wrong is wrong.

It is going to take a lot more than 384 votes to keep me from fighting for the values we hold dear and keeping our country safe from division

I named my law firm Rights First Law, P.C. because I recognize the importance of the rights afforded to us in this country and as a criminal defense attorney I always work to put my clients' rights first.

I am running to be a Michigan State Representative to help protect our fundamental rights as Americans, including our right to choose what happens with our bodies.

Today's reversal of Roe v. Wade does not prevent State legislatures, including ours here in Michigan, from protecting a woman's right to choose what happens with her body.

As a Michigan State Representative I will continue to put rights first and work to protect all of our rights.

in Oxford yesterday -- it was chilling to hear students begging lawmakers and adults to do something about school shootings.

I refuse to be complicit. As a criminal defense attorney I work every day to uphold the promises of our U.S. Constitution and I know exercising our 2nd Amendment right doesn't have to end with kids murdered in school. Sensible gun laws and the 2nd Amendment are not mutually exclusive -- we can have both, now let's get to work
