I shared 49 years with my bride Sharon before her death in March of 2018. I have two daughters: Courtney Dentlinger, Director of External Affairs for Nebraska Public Power District and Angie Klein, Senior Vice President with Verizon Corporation. Water is taken for granted. One of the duties of the NRD is to protect it from contamination. We were starting that when I served on this board for almost nine years up to 2007. They also work for soil conservation thru the NRCS. I have been working for the House of Representatives for six years helping constituents cut thru "red tape".

As a lifetime resident of the Norfolk area, I have been honored to be involved in many organizations that have helped to steer and form Northeast Nebraska. I have a track record of producing results and partnerships that benefit those that I serve. I believe that the NRD should be focused on providing services for all residents that they serve.
