Thatโ€™s going to hurt!

No one wants to see their pride and joy end up as fish food. So when you head off road, take a little extra care.

We are here to help when things go wrong but ultimately we want to see you all get home safely.

Attention 4WD enthusiasts โš ๏ธ

Whitehills Beach is still washed away & potentially dangerous to 4WDs. The access track from White Hills Road is also quite dangerous, with large ruts at the bottom of the hill approx. 30m west from signed entrance & exit track near the lookout - these are very difficult to navigate around.

Our crew will continue to assess the situation, but for now we strongly suggest avoiding the area.

Tims Thicket is a safe option if you need your 4WD fix this week ๐Ÿ–๏ธ ๐Ÿš™

ALBANY HOTEL TO OPEN TOMORROW

After more than two years construction, the Hilton hotel in Albany will open to guests tomorrow.

The $24 million hotel is backed by Albany businessman Paul Lionetti with the opening stalled by several months due to the collapse of builder Pindan earlier this year.

Albany Mayor Dennis Wellington said it's a major boost for tourism.

"It's a terrific adjunct to our tourism industry and for people who visit the town," he said.
