A Bangkok taxi driver had a stroke of luck when a passenger he drove to the airport gave him a 1,000 Euro tip for a fare that amounted to 677 Baht. The foreign passenger wanted to be dropped at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, but incorrectly said that he wanted be dropped off at Don Mueang International Airport. The fastest route between the two airports is a 45.2km journey, which was estimated to take 45 minutes. The taxi driver covered it in 30 minutes.

Mangosteen is in the news - A Chinese influencer recently reviewed the Thai fruit, saying it tasted disgusting. She posted her review to Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu. Many of her fans agreed, commenting that they are very bitter, tasted very bad, and were way too expensive.

After this content went viral, many Thais were shocked to see how she ate the mangosteen, as she did not eat it properly. The correct way is to take off the skin and then eat the white pieces inside.

Are you a fan of the slightly acidic and sweet fruit?
