Another bootfull of unwanted items off to a charity shop ❤️

Hey, so there are quite a few new people on my page now so I thought I'd introduce myself and tell you a little about what I do :-)

My name is Emma and this is my family, my husband James and our girls Primrose who is 4 & Dorothy who is 2 ❤️

I've always had an unnatural love for organisation, often at friends & families homes I've sorted out their kitchens or spare rooms with enthusiasm! One day it was mentioned that I should try and make a little business out of it...and here we are!

So what I do is basically come to your home with my bag of goodies (bin bags, bags for charity items, elastic bands...ect!) And talk you through how I think is best to tackle a room and then we do it together (unless you aren't up to it then usually you would sit in the same room while I work so you can see where everything is going and help direct me when it comes to unwanted items)

I take upto a carboot load (it's an estate car so pretty big boot) of unwanted items to a charity shop after our session... unfortunately I do not have a waste permit so cannot take any waste or recycling items away.

I charge £15 per hour for my services...I will never leave your home bang on the hour and I would also never leave it in a state! I will always try and finish up best I can before I leave, if it looks like it will need more time we talk about it then and there, I'm usually very flexible when it comes to staying a little longer.

I mainly work weekends and school holidays because James is a teacher and these are the times he can have daddy daughter days with them so I can work.

If you live in walking distance I will happily work evenings after I have put my girls to bed too :-) Unfortunately I never learnt to drive and James stays home with our girls so I can only do local homes in the evenings...in the past if there are charity shop items I have either walked them home with me or my partner has driven to the house after my return to collect them.

I am completely booked up during my normal working hours until December!!!

However...i do have a couple of clients who I work evenings for, they pick me up and drop me back off with any items that they no longer want and would like to donate to charity (because I can't drive and my partner can't take me as he is at home with our sleeping girls...any charity items get loaded into our car by us and taken after he finishes work the following day 🙂)

If you would like any help in the evenings from 5:30pm onwards then I'm very happy to arrange this and I usually either work a little extra for free or knock £5 off of my total fee for your hassle of getting me and returning me to my home in Earby!

Yesterday I worked for a lovely lady and her husband on this room.
I was in there for 2.5 hours and cleared enough floor space for her to get in there and continue ❤️
A full cars worth of unwanted items from their room were taken to the Barnardo's charity after my visit 🙂

These are some pictures from my Sunday job.. I took a very full cars worth of items to charity and lots of organisation was done, we also shuffled around some of the furniture :-)

Now they have the room to put up their gym equipment ❤️

I am based in Earby but have so far worked as far away as Keighley and Nelson...if you are that bit further away then I usually ask to commit to at least 2/3 hours because of ridiculous price of diesel!

Oh and one last thing, I will never take before and after pictures unless you are 100% okay with it...I will always do what's best for you...work at your pace and listen to your needs ❤️

When I started this business I genuinely thought the thing I would enjoy the most would be the organisation and helping people in anyway I could through what I do...but now I think my favourite part is meeting new people and getting to know them so I can better help and organise.

Since starting up about 10 months ago I have met some absolutely wonderful people and I am so thankful to each and every one of them for giving me a chance and welcoming me into their homes.

I have spent this weekend with a couple of truly amazing women and i can't even begin to explain how much I've enjoyed their company and helping them with organising things in to more easily accessible places that works well for them.

Unfortunately this will be the last weekend I will be able to work for a month or so as I am due a knee operation this week and will need 4-6 weeks for recovery...if anyone will be wanting any help after this please just message me and I'll be in touch as soon as I'm up and about again ❤️

Hey! Sorry it's been a while since my last post...I've been busy getting married!

Also my previous jobs before I was on full wedding DIY everything mode were ones with wonderful people who would rather keep the work I have been doing in their homes completely private ❤️

I've finished working in a cellar that belongs to a wonderful woman today, one area that bothered her was this one, the cleaning products were all stored in bags and boxes and she couldn't see what she had.
The area is definitely a little full but now they are all in order of what they are. So they can all be seen and are easy to get to so she doesn't have to buy anymore because she can't find them ❤️

Bit of a different one today!

I was asked to help unbox many boxes of books and help put them in genre/specific authors for my client ❤️

After almost filling the downstairs bookshelves we carried the rest upstairs and filled them too!

The organization of it all was strangely thereputic!

I loved today ❤️

I've spent 4 hours helping a wonderful lady transform her cellar today ... I don't have any pictures because I will never take any if you aren't 100% comfortable with it.

I've worked with this lady a couple of times now and she is absolutely wonderful, I have met some amazing people doing this job and I'm so thankful to everyone who has given me a chance and invited me into their homes ❤️

Sorry I've been a little quiet on here I've been working mostly in peoples kitchens lately and I'm a pain at forgetting pictures in kitchens because I just get straight in there!!

Also it's been my little girls 4th birthday last week 🥳 so life has been hectic! (Picture of my birthday princess below!)

Working a full weekend this week but have some availability next weekend if anyone would like any help ❤️

I received this message today from a wonderful lady that I worked with recently...and my goodness did it make me smile ❤️

I worked on a kitchen with an absolutely wonderful woman yesterday ❤️ I meet some amazing people doing this job, I absolutely love it!
After our session she booked me in for another date :-)

There are no pictures from work this weekend because I gave myself some time off and had a wonderful time visiting family with my little family ❤️

I personally think this is daylight robbery!

I charge £15 per hour (minimum wage plus a bit to cover time afterwards to take items to charity shops and to cover the diesel!)

I do what I do because I enjoy it and I love helping people...I would feel awful taking the amount this person charges off of people who need help!

Incase you aren't sure on how much I charge then it's £15ph and i come with everything we will need to get the job done.

I will never just leave on the dot and I'll also never leave the section/room we are working on in a state!

If it becomes clear that we will need alot more time then we will discuss the best plan of action for you...wether it's for me to stay longer on the day or return at a later date.

I also take upto a car boots worth of unwanted items to a charity shop as I leave :-) (it's an estate car so I can take a decent amount!) unfortunately I cannot take rubbish or recycling as I don't have a waste permit x

This is my girls arts and crafts cupboard at home...It's rammed full, but everything has a place ❤️ this is what I'm about!

I will always organise whatever you would like to keep...if it makes you smile-keep it, we will find it a home in your home together...if it brings you joy, then the same applies!

If it's something you have kept "just in case" for many years and never touched, then that's when it may be time to find it a new home, where it can help or bring joy to someone else's life 🩷
