Looking back at December of 2020, we can only remember the good times as we somehow completely forgot how our small team was running around doing 10 things at a time.

We wanted to help the neighborhood where we spent the last quarter of 2020 and we jumped on every opportunity that had potential to create linkages between corporate , individuals and small neighborhood shops.

The objective of the projects was to foster a connection with the small shop owners who proved more than capable to cater to the needs of the community by finding new sustainable ways to doing so.

More than 11 small and medium sized shops benefited from Rise Up Lebanon’s holiday collabs.

Here’s to more projects to come✨✨✨✨

This age-old practice, still a familiar sight on the streets of Istanbul, has gained new relevance since Turkish authorities announced that they were ordering people aged over 65 to stay at home in the battle against the new coronavirus.

"Before, we were receiving maybe 10 orders a day and this number has reached 50 now," said a neighborhood grocery shop owner.

A lot of people do not use online delivery apps and that’s why the neighborhood grocery shop is vital as it can cater to the needs of individuals and families at no additional cost.

Let us revive this tradition in Lebanon and support dekenet el hay.
