Stevens for Ohio

The results last night didn't go our way, but I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who supported me throughout this process. I want to thank my family, especially my wife Deanna and children Lindsey, Megan, and Andy for their love and support. To everyone who supported this campaign by volunteering, contributing, or simply showing up to vote, thank you for placing your trust in me.

I called and congratulated Beth Lear on her well earned victory. Whether we like the result or not, it's imperative we offer her our full support. I still have faith in this party, but we're stronger when we're united. Now is the time to come together to make our district a better place for future generations.

Each day this week I've met young future leaders at the Knox County Fair. It's been an inspiring experience and gives me hope in these troubling times.

As Lindsey starts preparing for her sophomore year at Hillsdale College, it reminds me what a special place it is. She is blessed to be able to attend a college where intellectual freedom exists and truth is pursued without fear and intimidation. Thank you Hillsdale!

It was great meet Rick Sa****um tonight at the Ohio Christian Alliance. A great event put on by an amazing organization.

I’ve been receiving a lot of phone calls lately from supporters excited to cast their ballots for me. Just a reminder, the election for State Representative will be in August, not tomorrow. Yesterday, newly appointed State Representative Shawn Stevens (Dist. 68) joined the 14 other Republicans willing to go against grain and stand up for vaccine choice and discrimination protection by signing the HB 248 ballot initiative.

Shawn replaced Representative Carfagna, the Co-writer of HB 435. Carfagna stepped down to take a position with the Ohio Chamber of Commerce.

OAMF is proud to see such a newly appointed house member willing to come forward in support of the PEOPLE’s bill despite the backlash that it brings from establishment leadership and the Ohio Chamber of Commerce.

Representative Stevens is disgusted by the number of citizens who have lost their jobs because they refused to take a medical product against their conscientious and religious beliefs, and he is heartbroken by stories like 9 yr. old Tanner Donaldson who is being denied a transplant by his own father due to vaccination status discrimination.
