Erika Zimmerman Wanted for Murder
On Thursday, April 11, 2024, a male Hispanic adult Victim was killed on the 16000 block of Valeport Avenue, in the city of Lancaster. Erika Zimmerman has been identified as the suspect and is wanted for murder. Zimmerman is described as a female White, 37 years old, blonde hair, blue eyes, 5’3, 140 lbs.

Attention, community members! We’ve received a concerning message via Instagram about two accounts, Lancaster Vibes and Palmdale Community, claiming to offer promotional shoutouts. A local resident has informed us that after paying for a shoutout, expecting increased visibility due to their large follower numbers, they discovered something alarming. These accounts are fraudulent, based in India, and not in the United States as they pretend to be. They have been found to purchase followers, making it appear they have a substantial local following when, in fact, their followers are mostly bots.

This is a stark reminder to be cautious. Always verify where an account is based and demand to see a screenshot of their audience insights or traffic before engaging their promotional services. Be careful!

Scheduled for summer 2025, a pioneering VA clinic will open its doors at 44439 7th St. W, Lancaster, CA, to serve the nearly 9,000 Veterans of Antelope Valley. This facility, a significant upgrade from the current clinic, is part of the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System’s expansion, occupying an expansive 20,000 square feet space under a 20-year lease.

Unlike its predecessor, which operated in partnership with external healthcare providers, the new clinic will be fully staffed and run by VA personnel to ensure unparalleled and consistent care for Veterans. This strategic move, highlighted by its convenient location and modern design, aims to offer faster and improved access to a wide array of services, including a dedicated women’s health clinic, telehealth, and mental health services, among others.

Over 70 VA professionals will provide care in this state-of-the-art facility.
