“You’re too young to go grey!” My hairstylists told me. I know this journey well. Started only doing lowlights in my 50’s to let my grey be my highlights.
Now in my 60’s. Some days I love my natural color. Other days I still look in the mirror and am surprised to see an older woman!! No going back to hair dyes since my sister (a hairstylist 30+ years) died from Lymphoma. A contributing factor was the chemicals she was constantly exposed to.
Now I am passionate about minimizing as many toxic chemicals as possible, which is why I use and share Beautycounter!!!

After my baby sister and also a dear friend passed from 2 types of cancer last year … I have shifted into an awareness of what causes cancer!!

(Known) Toxins are in our environment; household cleaners, cookware, personal body care, hair products, packaging and foods. Avoiding what we can as we identify and become aware is one step in detoxing! It’s a journey to take back our own health and help educate our family and friends. Our skin and lungs absorb chemicals on a daily basis.
The Fragrance in shower gels and lotions; fragrance and aluminum in deoderants; fluoride in toothpaste; hormone disrupting chemicals in makeup… all add up to daily poisoning ourselves. All this takes place even before we add in preservatives, added hormones, etc. in the foods we put in our gut.
It’s no wonder our bodies begin to breakdown as we spend a lifetime accumulating so many toxins that cannot be processed.
