💗Hello I am still here just super busy with my full time job that is running till end of September.

💗While I am working are looking after my stock in Farnham so do go and pop in to the store as its full of lovely colourful small businesses. As soon as you walk in it makes you feel happy so the the perfect place for my products!

💗My website is still live but you cant purchase from it at the moment as its on pause mode while I build a new website its just been so busy I havent had much time.

💗I was so grateful for the dry sunny morning so I could walk 1.7 miles to the station, I have to say exercise has been neglected over the last 4 months I think Winter just makes me want to hibernate 🤣

🎄Never have I been so happy to put my out of office on at work on Friday evening as its been the busiest last 4 months and I have had hardly anytime to relax since starting back at work full time in September.

💗Friday is a big day for retail but here at Elley Jane we are spreading colour this Friday supporting small businesses in particular who stock the Elley Jane range which is sustainably produced so kind to the environment and as its 100% organic cotton it can be recycled when you are done with it.

💗Thank you .co for supporting small businesses at this time of year. So many small independent businesses have closed in the last year and I myself have struggled to keep my small business going and am back at work full time.

💗So this Friday if we could all spend even just a £1 with an independent small business it will make a huge difference.

💗Unfortunately I havent been able to launch the new website yet as time ran away with me and I started back at work this week so I still want to try to get it live before the end of September.

💗In the meantime all these lovely products are stocked in Farnham.

💗If they dont have your size please let them know as I can do special orders.

💗As you know all my clothing is organic cotton and made in a renewable energy factory with non toxic dyes plus they can be recycled into new clothing once you are done so it really is as sustainable as you can get and true circular fashion.

💗Wow what a weekend and big end to our 50th celebrations although one card said a couple of friends have a surprise for me so its not quite the end!

💗Thank you staff for the food and help on the evening and before the event.

💗Finally thanks to the family and friends that came to help us celebrate we had such a great time.

💗Its time to pack for my birthday city break to Lisbon so thats why I have been a bit quieter on here as I have been busy planning where to go!

💗I love planning trips to ensure I make the most out of every holiday but trying to decide what to pack is my least favourite thing especially when you can only take hand luggage.

💗Luckily the airline I am going on allows small case and a small bag and at least I know the weather is going to be hot so that definitely helps when you are limited on what you can pack.

💗I also have to get all my liquids into that little bag which is always a challenge but those rules are due to change I hear plus you can always do a boots order online and collect at the airport 😉

💗Who saw the at the weekend?

💗My lovely neighbour took me along with her niece to Guildford and it was only £5!

💗Obviously you had to wear pink and so I grabbed my Flower Power T-Shirt & Pink Cardi and could not resist stepping inside the box for a photo 🤣

💗The movie was not what I expected as in it was aimed more at older Children and Adults hence the PG13 rating but it is full of laughs and great music, and are brilliant so I highly recommend seeing it especially with all the wet gloomy weather at the moment.

💗I love getting photo’s of my customers in their T-shirts and this Flower Power Design has been a firm favourite for little girls.

💗The design came from some old wallpaper in a house my parents were renovating so its always worth taking photo’s before renovations begin!

💗Its so popular I am adding new colours to the collection so swipe left to see two new colours in this print.

💗I can do them in adults sizes too just message me if there is something you want thats no showing online.

💗Hello Everyone here I am in Farnham dropping off my stock a couple of weeks ago.

💗She is also full time carer to my Dad who is in a wheelchair following a bad stroke 2 years ago so today we are going to do our best to spoil as she deserves a treat for all that she does for my Dad.

💗Day 23 REALITY!

💗Obviously on instagram what you see posted that day isn’t necessarily what I am up to.

💗At the moment the reality is I have no make up on and just got rained on doing some digging in the garden trying to get rid of ground elder but its a big job 🤦🏽‍♀️

💗I take a lot of photos and videos when I am out and about so I have lots of content ready to share throughout the month.

💗I try to post current things but sometimes especially with these prompts for March Meet The Maker I have gone back over previous content to find whats relevant.

💗Another reality to share with you is the Instagram algorithm has changed again and one of the new rules is only 3 - 5 hashtags but I am going to put together a video with all the other new rules next week.

💗Day 15 From Idea to Product.

💗First step is to come up with the slogan and Shine Bright Like A Star was my niece’s idea!

💗I then look for idea’s in art and fashion history books/online and my favourite era’s are 60s and 70s.

💗I then sketch my design ideas in pencil and I definitely need a rubber to hand as it takes a while to get them looking how I want them to look.

💗Then the design is turned into a digital artwork by my friend

💗It is then ready to be sent to my printers who use sustainable/eco friendly practices and water based dyes.

💗My designs are all printed on 100% organic cotton T-Shirts and Sweatshirts.

💗Day 7 is LEARN

💗I had to learn a lot about sustainability not just starting my business but also in my job as a buyer.

💗I thought I would share a few words and explanations on why my business is classed as sustainable.

💗March Meet the Maker Day 2 - All About You

💗My name is Eleanor and my middle name is Jane hence my Brand being named Elley Jane.

💗Photo 1 - Although I was born in Hertfordshire I moved to Devon when I was 2 and although I moved up to London/Surrey for work I still love going for holidays as I miss living by the sea and the beautiful countryside.

💗Photo 2 - I studied Fashion Design at The University Westminster and this is a photo of my final collection which was featured at The Clothes Show Live Exhibition in Birmingham.

💗Photo 3 - I have worked in Fashion Buying in particular Fashion Accessory for over 20 years so you might have bought something developed by me if you have shopped at John Lewis, Lipsy, Laura Ashley, Boux Avenue or Oliver Bonas!

💗Photo 4 - I loved working on prints at Laura Ashley as they had a wonderful archive going back to the 60s. Its also where I met who then helped me turn my original sketch ideas for Elley Jane into digital artworks for printing.

💗Photo 5 - I launched my business Elley Jane end March 2021.

💗I think I took over 1000 photo’s in Mexico so its going to take a long time to go through them all 🤣

💗 Here are some highlights of the beautiful scenery and Mayan Temples we saw during our trip.

💗If anyone is thinking of going do get in touch as I have a lot of tips, I may actually write a blog about it as although I did a lot of research there was lots of things I learnt whilst on our honeymoon adventure.

💗We visited the Yucatan region mainly the coast Tulum to Cancun, Valladolid, Chichen Itza (one of the new 7 wonders of the world) and Holbox.

💗Its and in 2014 I was lucky enough to have 8hours in Sydney airport whilst waiting for my next flight so I jumped on the train & headed down to Sydney Harbour to take a few quick photo’s, I could have stayed longer but I had this constant fear of will I get back in time & issues at customs but there wasnt any and I caught my flight with no problem.

💗So moral of the story is if you ever have a long time to wait for your next flight and you have all the right Visa’s etc leave the airport and go and explore, you never know if might ever have the opportunity again!

💗I do hope to one day go back as my cousin lives in New Zealand so it would be a perfect stop off on route.

💗Its so I couldnt let this day go past without giving you all some compliments 💕
