Welcome to my studio where the colorful magic happens🖌️✨ Currently, I'm knee-deep in commission projects, and I'm excited to give you a peek behind the curtain. It’s a series of colorful abstract paintings. Can you spot the little details I've hidden in these paintings?

„Accept the good“
Natural dye techniques have weaved their magic into this piece, bringing nature's hues to life on the canvas. And just like a bush rose blooms amidst wild chaos, this painting harmoniously blends its elements into a dance of colors and patterns. What are YOUR current goods? 👇🏻

after working the whole week with kids on an art project this playful vase seems kinda suitable to my current state of mind. Colors, dots and florals.

ps: a flower to all the teachers out there😅

sending out merch is a fun thing to do on hot days like these.
taking a sunset dip is also a fun thing to do on hot days like these. going for a stroll through the forest is also a fun thing to do on hot days like these.
there are a lot of fun things go do….

dive into a world where history meets modern artistry 🐎

the antique greek emty vessel reminds me a lot of a methaphor a friend told me when I felt like life is falling apart:

imagine yourself on a horse carriage. at one point on your journey the wheel falls off or even the whole wagon falls apart. maybe you can fix it OR maybe you don‘t need the horse carriage anymore cause you ready to walk. the journey might be a little slower but with more time to be aware of the beautiful scenery all around you. 🪷🌳🌞🏔

Photos from ElisaHuettner's post 22/06/2023

funny horses or funny lady?

for me it‘s the combination. Like the combination of chips and a matching tshirt. Or a moody sky with indoor lights. OR clothes rail with a wall - jk that‘s a bad one as I figured😅 anyone knows how to fix this?

A fun vase. A pretty view. A big succulent. A good garden and a colorful field. Bye👋

Photos from ElisaHuettner's post 11/05/2023

looked grey outside so I painted an overdimensional ugly ear.
would you rather have a body in the shape of an ear or an ear in the shape of a body? I’m all ear…

Photos from ElisaHuettner's post 08/05/2023

oh hello little vase on a little shelve next to the little trumpet.

ps. my dad used this one when I was a child to wake me up…no wonder I don‘t do alarm clocks anymore😅

Photos from ElisaHuettner's post 27/04/2023

…and since we are already in the checked pattern theme: another floral vase on a checked background.

2nd picture: me, while trying to decide wheter my patterns should be all graphically perfect or imperfectly perfect🤔

Photos from ElisaHuettner's post 20/04/2023

I have not more to show you than a very lonely empty vessel in an empty room cause all the plant babies already moved in another emty house.

Photos from ElisaHuettner's post 17/04/2023

why can’t just all houses have such a pretty built in tiled stove?

Photos from ElisaHuettner's post 13/04/2023

to be honest, I don‘t like this painting very much. I show it anyways cause not all s**t can be great s**t and since I’m constantly trying to allow myself to produce s**tty s**t I take what I wrote: It’s enough. So cheers to a day of producing crap and having fun while doing it and being surprised when s**tty s**t turns into great s**t🥂

happy nappy easter from me and this napping bunny.

embroidered it on a sleve of hand dyed shirt. stiched the sleeve hole together. very proud of myself.

Photos from ElisaHuettner's post 06/04/2023

you better do not send me furniture shopping I‘ll end up buying a mini store😂 At least it fits my paintings pretty well…

anyone a sip of 1850s whitewine? or the healthy amongst us a little carrot? I‘m the happiest kid of them all!

lined up.
or my thoughts when I tried to fall asleep.

Photos from ElisaHuettner's post 30/03/2023

switched up my medium for a sec and painted candles. was fun. if you need fun in your life - paint candles.

colors for a rainy monday.

Photos from ElisaHuettner's post 23/03/2023

all about the yellow florals and a not so empty vessel as it‘s time to fill up all your vases with fresh bloooms! it‘s the little things….

Details of another piece where floral dyed fabric meets painted canvas.

This plant is currently sitting in my living room. She grew a lot over the last months which probably means that she either loves the fresh countryside air, that she enjoys beeing talked to or that I‘m a pretty good plant mama. Anyways we love discovering new baby leaves over here!

A bunch of new paintings patiently waiting in my studio while I have a bunch of other to-dos patiently waiting for me. We have one thing in common - we covered in beautiful light & shadow patterns.

Photos from ElisaHuettner's post 09/03/2023

A flower for the sun - as a reward for making it through the rain. A gut - as a reminder to not underestimate your gut feelings. An ornament - as a fun element.

Photos from ElisaHuettner's post 06/03/2023

real vase & flowers vs painted vase & flowers.
why decide if you can have both?

ps: I love the 4pm light in my tiny livingroom

pps: whats not to love about a bit of afternoon sun treatment?!

A vase ready to be filled with all your imagination. This one is my current favorite from the empty vessels series. And since winter had its comeback over the weekend painting floral stuff helps me hold on to all the spring feelings. What are your winter coping strategies?

Photos from ElisaHuettner's post 23/02/2023

finished piece. we got a patchwork situation here. part of this painting is a floral-dyed canvas while the rest is covered with patterns and symbols. Let me know if you wanna add some patchworky vibes to your walls too!

Napanuary might be over - but not so your right to take a nap. Or two. Or three. Or place yourself on the couch like a human slimy. Yesterday I listened to a podcast where someone statet that she measures her success by how many naps she’s taking during a week. She’s a real life queen! Cause she knows that well rested the quality of what we do and how we feel goes up levels. Also it inspired me to rethink my own measurement of success. haven’t come to a definitive answer yet…. How do you define success?
(I knooooo big question for a small friday)

30/01/2023

almost comes to an end…here are 10 signs you might need another nap:

1. You’re feeling like a human-shaped noodle
2. You look like a walking caffeine advertisement (the before not the after)
3. Eyelids drooping like a wilted flower
4. Yawning more than a sleepy puppy
5. Fuzzy brain and a hard time to find the right words
6. Constantly daydreaming about your bed
7. Moving slower than a snail on a treadmill
8. You're more forgetful than a goldfish
9. The ability to concentrate is lower than a toddler's attention span
10. But you’re more emotional than a hormonal teenager

Solution to all of these symptoms: Becoming a Napping Queen/King.

Napanuary fact no XY:
If you're lucky, this is what your face looks like when you're asleep.

23/01/2023

OH dear monday…you remind us once again: rest days are the best days.

Let’s be real…I know that sometimes it's hard to believe that taking a break from your usual routine will make you feel better - especially if you're someone who likes to keep busy, or feels like they need to be productive all the time. But trust me when I say this: taking a rest day once in a while will work wonders for your mood, productivity, and overall well-being.

It might seem like we're always supposed to be on our toes, but the truth is that our bodies and minds need time off from what we're used to doing every day. We need time to reset so that we can come back stronger than ever!

So if you're feeling like today's going to be another day where you just can't bear another second of work or errands… don't worry! Tomorrow will be here soon enough—and then there'll be another day after that. And then another day after THAT!

Photos from ElisaHuettner's post 19/01/2023

The list of „ugly ways to take a break“ continues whit some ideas of resting activities:

- do an ugly dance
- make an ugly painting
- let out an ugly sigh

wish you all some rest cause I know you could need it!
