Allison Bryn is one of the great granddaughters!! She will be interviewed before our game tomorrow. We know she will represent Bison Pride and make her great grandmother proud. 🏀 I’m honored to be the coach to such a dedicated and hardworking player.
Memories of the 1946 Sanborn Girls Basketball Team VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Barnes County Girls Basketball tournament tips off on Tuesday, December 7th in the W.E. Osmon Fieldhouse. The Sanborn Girls Basketball Team won it all in 1946. Jean Kronebusch Kihne was a
Congrats to a couple of our players! It’s not easy to double sport— 1st in Pom and hip hop, 2nd in Jazz! Great job ladies!! 👏
It's not just about one's success in one sport--- we celebrate them ALL! The girl's basketball team is so proud of their captain and leader. Congratulations to Senior Hanna W on her commitment to VCSU!
I am beyond excited to announce that I will be continuing my education and volleyball career at VCSU next year! Thank you to my coaches, teammates, and my family for all you have done for me over the years, Go Vikes! -Hanna- BCN Class of '02
Come cheer on the girls in Valley City!!
Congrats to this year’s team captains!! Both seniors- Trinity Faber and Hanna Wieland. They were voted captains by their teammates based on the 3 Cs: Commitment, Caring, and Courage. 🏀 Many girls are deserving on this team but the team chose well— win or lose these two can handle it.
The plan was to have a meeting today and hand out schedules. Be ready for practice after school on Monday until 6pm. Schedules will be handed out the first day instead.
I couldn’t have said it better than this coach! But, if you do get a scholarship we will always support you.
Warwick Workouts was a great three days of skill developing, but the coach consistently stressed the importance of listening. The kids figured it out by day three!
Good luck to all of our players on their upcoming volleyball season!! Basketball will be here before you know it…
It was a great two days of basketball camp! Our high school helpers were awesome and we discovered quickly we needed to gyms! Our mission was accomplished as we heard lots of Littles say they wanted to play basketball! 🏀💙🏀
Positionless Player Camp this summer is open to ALL boys and girls in these grade levels. They do not have to be a BCN student to participate!! We would love to have you join us! (FYI- it says Wimbledon Main Gym, but takes place at Barnes County North school which has a Wimbledon address)
**(BCN Girl's BB Players) We know summers are busy, but we would love to have you here. :) Let me know if cost is an issue and we will do what we can to get you here! **
We’re finalizing our summer schedules!

We finally got to do awards night— nothing fancy but much needed! I am so proud of how hard everyone worked this season.

Well— that’s a wrap. We didn’t get a win this season, but I learned so much as I navigated this head coach gig. More importantly— I hope the girls learned a lot about the game and we can continue to grow together as a team! 🏀 Congrats to our #23!! Ashley McFadgen made the All-District Team— which is well-deserved!
Today we got to watch lots of basketball, cheer on the dance team, and eat together at IDK!!
Hanna’s season ended early but it doesn’t mean she stops. She attends practices, runs the clock, works with the younger girls, and is always sharing her love for basketball! 🏀
From a couple weeks ago!!
Congrats to three of our basketball girls on their success at State Dance!! Double sporting all first semester and still received the Scholar Award! We know it’s not easy but girls like you make sports a reality for small towns!! Great work Allison, Addison, and McKenley!!
We conquered Ninja Fargo!! Ashley McFadgen beat the competition size warp wall!! But— all girls had a great lesson on team work, self-confidence, and determination!!
It was fun to have some Bison alumni at practice with the girls yesterday!! They were excellent role models and demonstrated a love for the game.
