Today marks the 1 year anniversary of our debut show that was unfortunately cancelled due to Covid-19. This show would have featured Leo Zen , Levrige , Beat J***y , Slight , and Craylic .

This event is still unfortunately on hold until we're given the green light, but we have not forgotten about the community and support that helped put this project together. To all of our friends and family, artists, staff, collaborators, and supporters, we love you and cannot thank you enough. Victoria may be small, but it has an extraordinary abundance of talent and culture for DnB, Bass music, and the arts as a whole. We tried so hard to put together an event that was deserving of this amazing community, but sadly the time just wasn't right. We hope that everybody has endured through these unstable times and we cannot wait to celebrate with you all when it is safe to do so.

We'd like to give a special shout out to our headliners for this event, Levrige and Leo Zen. In the comments you can find links to some of their most recent releases and we hope everybody can take some time to listen to these talented artists' catalogues and enjoy their music the same way that we have.

While live events are still on hold, we have been fortunate enough to be working with Social Sound Victoria 's livestream series which showcases local DJs covering a wide variety of Dance Music genres. If you're interested, we'd love to hang out with you in the chat during our regular livestreams on Twitch! A link to Social Sound Victoria's Twitch channel may also be found in the comments below.

Even though the dancing's done, don't worry cause the night is young. We will be back as soon as possible and can't wait to dance and celebrate with all you beautiful people.

Drum and Bass has roots stemming from Jamaican Reggae and Dub music, and has grown along with Hiphop, Rock, Breakbeats, and other genres of music that have contributed towards a culture that we live for and love from the bottom of our hearts.

We often overlook that this cultural growth is also one that would not exist without the oppression and injustice that Black communities have experienced throughout the world for centuries. If we are to truly appreciate the power and positive influence behind music and the arts, then we must stand together to acknowledge the pain and suffering that they are built upon, and come together in order to provoke meaningful change and to influence those who may not currently respect the history that underlies the elements of society that we take advantage of every single day.

We will not be participating in any events in support of Blackout Tuesday, however do not want to neglect the healing power of music. We have decided to share the piece linked below as we continue to mourn and fight towards creating a world where all people are treated equally.

We've reached a point where words are no longer enough.

The world of EDM was built upon the backs of black artists. Without their advances and sacrifices, none of what we cherish would exist today and it's far past due that we recognize that history.

History is once again being made across the world through protest. We at FOUR / FOUR support the BlackLivesMatter movement and their efforts to create systemic change. In our society, black culture is celebrated while black lives are dismissed. No more.

With that in mind, we will be joining other artists on June 2 in an industry black out as part of . Instead of absorbing black culture through white intermediaries, we challenge you to take that time to go directly to the source and open your eyes, ears and hearts to what black voices have been crying out about for decades.

If you have the means, please also consider a donation to a worthy cause such as the Minnesota Freedom Fund, the NAACP, or the ACLU.

Thank you. And remember - when black lives matter, only then can all lives matter.
