Work in the region of Karnataka, India. We Work for Heritage Awareness, Art & Conservation, Collaboration, Heritage walk
Welcome to the Puratattvakarnataka's page. We are an offshoot of the Puratattvasamvardhan NGO.
For decades now, people have disregarded history and the origin of things. Most of the times, when asked about the origin of something, we look for answers but wind up with no satisfactory explanations.
But why this initiative now? Well, let's look at the facts -
Karnataka houses 3 of the 38 World Heritage Sites, about 600 sites are under the protection of Archaeological Survey of India while nearly 900 monuments come under state protection. Apart from this, around 35,000 temples are protected under The Muzrai Act- 1927.
These numbers are off the charts! These sites are home to various traditions and Cultures. Ignorance may indeed be bliss, but because of this, some of the most beautiful cultural nuances are lost or left un-interpreted.
Our Aim - Is to tell you the vast Rich heritage and history that surrounds us. Join us on this journey where we uncover the pride and joy of Namma Karunadu - the land of The Ancient Suvarnagiri and the cradle for the Silicon valley of India.
