Youths in Fan district have taken to streets to mount billboards in support of HP 2023 movement and Hon Bitrus Chollom aspirations for member House of Representative Bladi/Ryom in the national assembly. The youth group under the Fan patriotic youth front said rotation and sharing of political offices in Nigeria has helped to give all a sense of belonging as such the zoning of the reps office Bladi/Ryom has never been compromise hence the need for such zoning arrangement to be replicated and sustain amongst the districts of Bladi for the purpose of fostering local cohesion.

Similarly, Youths of Bladi township mounted and set up structures for grassroots mobilization of supporters for the reps aspirant in next year's general elections.
The honourable is a grassroot politician and his success is tantamount to the success of the entire constituency!

HON. BITRUS CHOLLOM PDP ASPIRANT FOR BLADI/RYOM; CALLS FOR JUDICIAL INTERVENTION IN THE CRISIS ROCKING PLHA

Plateau has again been on the news for the wrong reasons following the purported impeachment of the speaker Hon Abok Ayuba by some members of the PLHA, an action consider illegal by many as it does not follow due legislative process. How can they say 7 out of 24 members impeach the speaker, even in a banana republic this can not happen talk more of a civilize and highly democratize country like ours where serious efforts are daily being made to sustain and grow democracy. Impeachment isn't a new thing to us but it should be allow to follow due process and done within the right constitutional framework.

For a speaker to be impeach, the proponents of the impeachment must form a quorum that is the 2/3 majority of the members having a minimum of 16 before such an impeachment will be considered legal, anything short of that could amount to impunity and a gross disobedience to the rule of law. Yes no doubt, some members of the house want the speaker removed but unfortunately they don't have the number to carry on with this task so why don't you allow peace to reign since u done have your way, why insisting on having your way when obviously you are the minority?
Nobody is against the impeachment neither the PDP nor the people of the state, all the people want is that led it be done within the provisions of the law with due regards to Democratic norm's and values. The Hon therefore advice the judiciary particularly members of the bar to up their game in defence of democracy in plateau before its rubbished and thrown to the trashbin. One of the major functions of the judiciary is to interpret (explain or clarify)and apply laws to solving disputes, your intervention is critically needed at this time, Hon Bitrus concluded!

On behalf of myself and my esteem supporter's wish to condole with the family of late Dara Joro of Kapwis ward, Foron in Barkin-Ladi LGA over the unfortunate death of their father, uncle and grandfather. The news of Dara's demise was received with total shock and sadness.

Late Dara was a great icon, a dogged political fighter, a role model and an elder statesman who stood for justice equity and truth in his lifetime. His fatherly role and contributions to the political landscape of Bladi and Plateau state would be greatly missed but be consoled in the fact that Dara is resting with our Lord Jesus Christ.
My heart goes out to the immediate family in this moment of grieve, may his soul continue to rest in peace with the lord Amen.

CONDOLENCES MESSAGE!!

On behalf of my family and my supporters wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of late Mr Markus Pam over his sudden transition to glory. Indeed the news of his demise was shocking and i pray God Almighty to comfort his immediate family, friends and allies.

May the fond memories of him being the chief driver of the Fmr Governor and Senator Jonah David Jang bring you comfort during this hard time. Late Mr Markus Pam was a good man, very jovial and I must say his death has undoubtedly created a great vacuum in the lives of many who knew him.
Please accept my condolences and I pray God to comfort you and hasten the journey of his soul to Heaven. Amen

The just concluded local government elections would have been a good testing ground to ascertain the readiness of our great party the PDP ahead of the general elections but unfortunately the party was barred from participating in the poll's by the electoral umpire PLASIEC, even though the debacle still remains far from ending as the party hopes to secure justice at the supreme court. In any case, whether we were rightly or wrongly excluded from the election's its pertinent we learn our lessons from this experience in order for us to avoid a repeat of this in the future. Its often said any house divided against itself will not stand, therefore, let's bury all hatchets and build our party for greater exploits centered on delivering good governance to our people.

To our party candidates who are the major victims of this ugly political development, I advice you all to remain calm and continue to keep faith with the party assuring you of the new party executives commitment to restructure the party by reconciling all aggrieved members for our great PDP to reclaim its pride of place in the nations democracy for a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.

HON. BITRUS CHOLLOM INDEPENDENCE MESSAGE

As today marks the 61st day anniversary of our nationhood, its important we reflect on the journey and how we have fared through the post colonial era of our beloved Nigeria. While we may frown at the present situation that we are, we may also have reasons to appreciates successes and gains which we have recorded in our national history. In view of the above, I implore us all to use this day to renew our pledges to uphold the unity and oneness of our country to be a place where peace, love and justice shall reign again.

Although challenges of insecurity, joblessness and corruption seems to have taken our hopes away, we shouldn't forget that the problems confronting us now are surmountable if we are together.
As a matter of urgency we must all begin to show genuine concerns and commitment (especially the political elites) in dealing with the widespread disease of senseless killings, unemployment, economic regression, corruption and other dangerous diseases plaguing the country. Remember, we have all it takes to move forward and grow better, together we can make Nigeria a better place where every citizen can have a sense of belonging wherever they found themselves. Politicians should rise to the great task of building social trust between them and the people by developing new frame work to governance. By so doing, we can have peace, progress and stability in our country.
To this end, i wish u all a beautiful new month and a Happy Independence Day celebration Nigeria .”

CHARITY THEY SAY BEGINS AT HOME.

PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN BY BITRUS FOUNDATION!

Below are images of Hon. Bitrus Chollom making donations to the needy (mostly widows/orphans) which includes cash, foodstuffs, clothing's and toiletries in the different communities of Heipang district in Bladi LGA. Some images also have the honourable presenting writing materials (Books, pencils, birrors, and schoolbags) to students of both primary and secondary schools with the sole aim of encouraging the pupils and students in their academic pursuits. The foundation has also helped in providing drugs/medical equipments to PHC Tatu, the only medical facility located in the community to meet the health needs of the people. Another Interesting area worth applauding is the foundation has also done a lot through the provision of basic amenities by constructing bridges/culvates for easy movement of goods and services especially those of farmers in Tatu community.
Sports is not left out as the foundation has organized a lot of football tournament's that have fostered unity among the youths of Bladi LGA.

In conclusion, its important to state clearly that the achievements above were made possible by the grace of God and Hon. Bitrus love for human development.

It was a moment of joy as youths of BarkinLadi/Ryom under the aggies of 'PROGRESSIVE PDP YOUTHS forum" converge on Heipang to register their unalloyed support to the duo of Senator I.D Gyang and the Rep candidate for 2023 general elections Hon. Bitrus Chollom.

The forum aptly led by Mr Fom Daniel Chollom appreciated the senator for his legislative prowess and commitment towards entrenching quality representation in the northern zone and plateau state as a whole.
