‘Have your say’ by joining Healthwatch Lincolnshire’s Live Webinar on 20th February 2023
To help the NHS in Lincolnshire prepare a 5 Year Forward Plan, Healthwatch Lincolnshire wants to hear from the most important people in all of this, you the patient, service user or family carer. They need you to tell them what you want our local NHS to focus on as they develop our services. The NHS will of course have to deliver against national priorities, but in Lincolnshire the focus must be the development of local services that work for local people.
Healthwatch Lincolnshire is offering people different ways in which they can share their views, one way is to join them live online on 20th February at their Have Your Say - NHS Priorities for the next Five Years webinar. During the webinar you will hear from the NHS and most importantly get a chance to ‘have your own say’.
Healthwatch are inviting people to join them at one of two online live webinar sessions running on the 20 February 2023:
Session One starts at 2pm and Session Two starts at 6pm – to register a place please visit https://www.healthwatchlincolnshire.co.uk/have-your-say-nhs-priorities-next-five-years or email [email protected]
Alternatively, you can share your thoughts by completing a survey Access the Survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/NHSLincs5YearPlan; emailing [email protected] or telephoning Healthwatch on 01205 820892

Our next event is on Monday 20th Feb and is about Living with a Long Term Condition.
We are hosting an event on Diabetes at Stamford Town Hall tomorrow
Thinking Ahead – NHS Lincolnshire want to know if patients’ health and social care needs are being covered by their individual healthcare plans.
An Anticipatory Care (AC) Plan is designed to help people to plan for their future health needs, including care and treatment. We are conducting a survey to help gain insight into how this type of care plan is currently being used, and how effective it is. We are therefore inviting any individuals (or their carers) who are either living with more than one health condition or disability, living with frailty and/or long-term conditions, or perhaps approaching the end of life.
By sharing your views and experiences you can help to shape services for the future, improving the care provided locally.
The survey can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/ACSurvey2022 and via the attached QR code. The survey is open until 17th of July.
Paper copies of the survey can be obtained from HWLincs and returned using their freepost address.
Please contact HWLincs and quote ACP

HWLincs Focus Groups and 1-2-1s
We would also like to actively engage with individuals who are happy to share their experiences in more detail with us. We are looking for people to attend our focus groups and/or to participate in one-to-one interviews. These are informal, friendly and designed to understand how the Anticipatory Care Plan is working and how it can be improved.
One-to-one interviews will take place on Friday 15th July, Tuesday 19th July and Thursday 21st July - times and method of the interview will be agreed with the individuals. These interviews can be carried out over the telephone or via video call. To book one, please contact HWLincs using the details provided above.

It is important that healthcare services better understand what is working well and where they need to focus their resources to help people. It is also useful to tell the system how people have managed to help themselves, and ways you might have found to cope and more resilient.
Completing the survey will only take a couple of minutes, it is anonymous and most importantly it will help to direct changes in healthcare services over the coming months and years.
If you or someone you know would like support with completing the questions, get in touch and we will contact you online, by telephone or by sending a copy in the post. Call 01205 820892 or email [email protected].
