Due to the anticipated low temperatures, Portage Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Primetime at Moorsbridge Elementary and Safe Harbor Child Care will be open.

Grab some food from City Barbeque on Westnedge tomorrow, January 16 and support the NMS PTO! We will get 20% of everything spent on food that day by anyone who shares our flyer when ordering in person, or using promo code FundA for online orders.

Tonight is the night (Dec 12)! Join us at our annual Shop for a Cause event from 5:30-7:00. Student projects will be for sale and dinner is available from Carrabba's for a small donation. Proceeds go to Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes.

The 7th Annual Huskies Give Event is on Tuesday, December 12 from 5:30-7:00 pm. Come spend some time with us to benefit Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes.

North Middle School alumni and published author, Nadia Famiano, came back to share her experience as a student and author with our 6th graders. NMS is proud of Nadia's accomplishments.

Portage North represented well at the Delton Invite. The girls' team finished 2nd overall and the boys had a solid showing too! Good work, North!

Extra-curriculars are beginning! We are proud of our student-athletes at North. Picture Day is September 13 too!

At last night's meeting, the Board of Education approved a partial 2023-24 School Year Calendar. The complete calendar is contingent on ongoing contract negotiations with the Portage Education Association.

You're invited to come view the new English Language Arts curriculum for K-8 at the PPS ELA Family Night 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, at the Portage District Library.

There will be games, activities, raffles, and an opportunity to see the units for each grade level. Don't miss it!

Join us for Open House on Tuesday, August 22 from 6:00-7:30. Students will receive their schedules and lockers. There is no formal presentation planned so show up when you can!
