Our founding fathers would be celebrating this moment not only because Biden and Kamala won, but because our democracy was created to give people the power to choose. We chose with a historic voter turnout of 67% THAT NO ONE is above the law not even Trump!!!
The work to unite our country wonโt be an easy feat. Iโm confident that and will lead us forward!
Finally 1st Women president!!! Who is excited for that???๐๐ปโโ๏ธโ๐ฝ๐ฅณ๐๐

This year 2020 has been difficult on so many levels from a pandemic, to loosing our jobs, some battling cancer, to losing a loved one, fires burning, and adjusting to online learning at home for our kids.
I donโt know who need to hear this but remember to stay positive and remember all the blessings around us. Sometimes things get ugly before they get better. Vote this election like our life depends on it and do it early to avoid any issues๐๐๐ฌ
Hey folks! I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!
We need folks from Long Beach to join the Redistricting Commission, if you are interested in getting involved send me a DM.
This campaign is dedicated to my daughters Natalie and Alice, and to all the little girls from District 6! Remember, there is no mountain we canโt climb, and some things seem impossible until they are done.

The best part about canvassing is meeting our little ones like Leah! She is so kind and beautiful like her momma thank you for supporting our campaign and congratulations on graduating from nursing school!
Every year I give USC tours to kids from our community and share my journey as a former student. We need to invest in our youth and as a Councilwoman I will create equitable access to higher education for all our kids. Together, we can change the narrative of our youth from District 6!
Our kids need to be exposed to what is available to them and higher education is vital to the success of our communities! Every year I take a group of students from our community on a tour of the USC campus! The best university in the world๐โจ #2014

Great News! After the debate last night I got the call from former CA State Senator Gil Cedillo endorsing our campaign! ๐
Coming from a family of immigrants who settled in Long Beach near MacArthur Park, I know have the privilege to raise my daughters in the same district I grew up in. The endorsement of former Senator Cedillo means more than just his support towards our campaign, he was the champion of the drivers license bill for undocumented immigrants that has changed the lives of over 1 million undocumented folks! He was the Author of AB130 and AB131, the California Dream Act that has propelled our undocumented youth to achieve higher education eliminating many barriers and opening doors for our undocumented youth!
In my district, many of us have a family member tio/tia, lola/lolo, yeay/chitea, or friends who are undocumented. For me, representing my community means representing everyone. Thank you for supporting our campaign!
Happy Friday folks! I want to thank the for hosting a District 6 Candidate Debate Forum, if you missed it check it out. I also want to thank Vanessa Montano a CSULB student and Communications Major for being part of this journey with us. She is fearless, committed, and extremely talented, we are very fortunate to have her as our campaign volunteer. If want to learn more on how to get involved send me a DM and join our grassroots movement!
