It's that time of year.

It's like every day is a holiday. I get the blessing of harvesting these gifts from my garden and enjoying all of the bountiful treats.

Someone is teething molars today and is extra clingy! He will not let me go while he watches sesame street. He has to be touching me at all times. So glad I can watch church at home instead of dragging a fussy toddler out where he may be uncomfortable.

By the time this summer is over my Zachy boy will be 2! He is getting so grown 🥺😢

😍 Started my yarn wall, but ran out of peg hooks. 😔 Displaying my yarn because I'm tired of storing bins of it. I honestly couldn't find any art I love to fill the many blank walls in our house, so I found this idea on the internet instead. Now I have an excuse to buy more yarn, to fill the yarn wall silly 😜

Let your child be messy! Ignite their imagination and senses. Teach them cause and effect. They will be more curious, independent, and confident when trying new things in life. They will be able to deal with the messy not so pleasant situations of life when they have grown up. They will be able to emotionally regulate tough situations and not have such a negative reaction when there is a mess to clean up. They will be more efficient at fixing problems when they are on their own. My job as a parent isn't to fix all the problems. It's to teach them how to fix them themselves. I love my son so much to guide and support him through all life has to throw at him. ❤

Zachary was extremely upset when his sisters got out of the car for school this morning. He cried violently then gave me dirty looks.

9 years ago I was in the hospital having my baby girl and was able to bring home the best Christmas gift that year! And now I get to enjoy her every year. My Stella Love is growing so much every day and it's truly bitter sweet seeing her mature. She has had the best Birthday party today with all her friends decorating their own cupcakes and ornaments. 🎄🦌🥳🎈🎉🧁
