So let me ask you guys claiming you are Volta sports whatever you call urself, upon all the astro turf being constructed by the current government which I know 30plus is being done in the eastern region and other regions region also had a great share, what about Volta region?

Because the president and his vice have commissioned pitches in several regions but not even a single one in Volta, or is it because their perception as voltarians being Togolese is still counting for their distribution of the national cake or because they thought no single voltarian voted for them so they don't deserve "NPP" projects? It's a shame you guys are quite without demanding for equal share of the national cake, for some years now tell me the number of sport projects which can found in Volta.

That's why it's becoming difficult to get athletes and sports men to represent our dear country because we have allowed this stupid ndc and npp politics to eat deep into our brains to the extent that some regions don't deserve astro turf because they don't vote for us. What a country full of madness, greedy and selfish leaders?

The only sports complex started in the Volta region located at Ho is now greener than Achimota forest with wild animals.
Do you guys claim you are sport guys for Volta? Then am afraid, your usefulness is outdated. Shame on all MPs from Volta region, you are all greedy looters, apart from Hn Okudzeto who is striving for his district the rest are sleeping on their job, they only visit their consistencies for funerals and elections. Keep on looting our future and destiny in the name of greed, but be rest assured karma will pay you back dearly.

There is this wonderful policy by government known as "One District One Factory" can someone give me any district or town where any of the 1D1F can be located in Volta?
I would like to know the locations and see for myself, seeing is believing.

Ghana Football Association to set over 260 camps across Ghana to identify young talents worthy for development.

This project will start in 2023 for Boys and Girls (U13 and U15).

Meet Gloria, Ghana's youngest Professional referee.

Gloria Sena Kumedzro is a 17-year old professional referee in the Ghana Premier League.

Gloria says she discovered her passion for refereeing at a tender age while in class 6 at the Ho Bankoe R.C Girls Primary School in the Volta Region.

She then advanced to the E.P.C Mawuko Girls Senior High School (SHS) also in the Volta Region where she is carrying on with her refereeing dream.

Currently in her second year (form 2) at senior high school, Gloria is already blazing the trail, officiating football matches at various levels.

A year later, Gloria wrote the class 3 refereeing exam and sat for the class 2 refereeing exams two years later [2019], passing both exams with brilliant results.

These qualifications earned her the the privilege of officiating third division and second division games in Ho.

About her rise into the Premier League, Gloria says: "They saw my performance and said I was good at the job; and so I was advised to go run the referee fitness

The Volta Football Association have announced rescheduling of the Division Two League Stakeholders meeting to Congress Day on the 22nd December, 2022.

The Volta FA says their decision is as a result of clubs complaints about high cost of transportation. To save cost,the Volta Division Two League Stakeholders meeting and Congress will be on the same day.

Hogbetsotso Footvolley Championship 2022 ends at the Aborigines Beach in Keta

The 2022 Hogbetsotso Footvolley Championship ended on 4th November with a lot of excitement as players displayed skills at the Aborigines Beach resort in Keta, Volta region.

Six (6) teams took part in the championship including All Stars Footvolley from Benin as well as the Austrian footvolley player.

At the end of the championship Keta Footvolley Club were crowned the winners, while the Austrian Footvolley player, Bernhard Lueger paired with a local player to claim the 2nd position trophy.

The Games Village was unique as the participating teams were all accommodated in mobile tents which formed part of our strategies to make the championship look more attractive and enjoyable.
