A great day for our senior county teams today. In Division One North, Suffolk 1s had a 6-5 win over Derbyshire 1 and an 8-3 win over Notts 2.

Meanwhile in Essex, Suffolk 2s had a 6-5 win over Middlesex 4 and a 6-5 win over Wiltshire 2.

Yesterday saw our first ever U12 Shires match. The players put on a fantastic performance at home to an experienced Essex Team. And although the match ended in defeat, there were a lot of positives to take for this talented group of young players who continue to work extremely hard 💪🏻👊🏻

A big shout out to coaches Clive, Adrian, Pauline, Kate and Janet for the effort put into the development of these players 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Congratulations to Chloe and partner Oliver who defeated a tough Canadian pair to move into the last 16 of the XD at the BWF World Junior Championships in Spokane, USA.

Chloe & Oliver will now face a Danish pair for a place in the QF.

Massive congratulations to Suffolk’s Chloe Dennis who helped the England U19s to a very credible 14th position at the BWF World Junior Mixed Team Championships in Spokane, USA.

Chloe had wins in the XD against Austria, Poland & Singapore, and wins in the WD against Latvia & Singapore.

Chloe’s next match will be in the XD individual event against a pair from Hong Kong. Good luck Chloe 🙌🏻🏸

Wins today for Suffolk’s Chloe & Kayleigh at the All England Junior Badminton Championships. Both players into the last 16 of the girl’s doubles with Chloe competing in the XD also.

Good luck to Suffolk juniors Chloe & Kayleigh who will be competing in the Yonex All England Junior Badminton Championships in Birmingham this weekend.

Both players will be competing in the GD and XD starting on Friday 💪🏻🏸

The 89th SBA AGM will take place via Zoom on Monday 17th July from 7:30pm. All documents can be found on the SBA website.

Nick Rimmer, Operations Director at Badminton England will be attending the call and will be providing a presentation on behalf of BE and taking questions.

We hope to see as many people there as possible.

Last weekend saw the Ipswich Senior Tier 4 take place at Suffolk One with our very own Rylee taking Gold in the XD with partner Sneha 🥇🥇

The Suffolk 1st Team were competing in the Division 1 play-offs this weekend against Lanarkshire, Gloucestershire and Herts 2.

Despite some great performances Suffolk narrowly missed out on promotion. However, a great season winning Division 1 South!
