A short time has passed but our thoughts and prayers have not. Our hearts ache for the tragic incident that involved some of our very own Loudoun County first responders.

Our deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Trevor Brown, and those injured.

This Saturday and Sunday, to honor those affected and their families, we are donating a percentage of our shops’ sales to the Loudoun First Responders Foundation as well as 20% off (in shop) for ALL first responders and front line workers.

bkd 4 - BRAMBLETON 🔥🗣️‼️‼️ It is with outrageous excitement that we are announcing we have secured a location at 23634 Strickland Drive (Suite 160) in Ashburn, VA

This project will take most of 2024 to build out, so the goal is to be open prior to 2025! We felt like this location would allow us to better serve our loyal Brambleton/Aldie/South Riding fam.

We cannot emphasize enough that this is part of very well planned, strategic expansion.

As we previously announced- Soon, ALL of our bagels will be made at our Leesburg (Fort Evans Rd) Location. Still FRESH… Every. Single. Day. They will then be transported (before the sun comes up) to our other shops in our climate-controlled bkd vans.

The primary goal is to provide an incredibly consistent and repeatable experience at any of our shops you choose to go to. You deserve nothing less.

It will also allow us to truly expand our catering efforts & roll out more delicious flavors, baked goods, etc. ANDDD a FULL COFFEE BAR 🙌🏼🙌🏼

BIG BIG NEWS. bkd 3 is official.

We will be taking over 500 Fort Evans Rd NE in Leesburg (Goal of an April 2024 opening, but stay tuned for updates along the way).

This is a strategic expansion for us, and one the will have an incredibly positive impact on your experience as a customer.

Not only will this be our 3rd storefront, but we will be using this new location as our primary baking facility. This will allow us to:

- Provide a uniform & consistent product across all shops (including future ones)
- Roll out more varieties of bagels, cream cheeses, etc.
- Avoid selling out on higher demand days
- Continue to build out the catering portion of our business (more catering & Holiday pre-order options)
- Move the hours to 7am-2pm for ALL days (including weekends)

You will also see a new bkd (badass) VAN rolling around town in 2024 which will delivering these bagels FRESH every morning to our other shops.

This new location will have both indoor/outdoor seating (including a cozy lounge area) & a full coffee bar ☕️
