9 Tips for Mental Health & Wellness ✨
By one of our amazing partners, from
Swipe Along..
1. Start your day with sun on your face. Getting outside even briefly each morning signals your body to operate on a healthy daily rhythm.
2. Take one step at a time. When things feel overwhelming, just take the first step. Most things are more about the journey than the destination.
3. Get off the grid. Leave your phone hidden in a secure spot and give yourself a break from the urgency to respond.
4. Do some coloring. It can be drawing, working with clay, or writing in a journal - anything that works to relax your mind.
5. Take a breathing break. Feeling tense at work or the computer? Take a break for a few deep breaths.
6. Give your pets some attention. Petting a furry friend might be just the therapy you need.
7. Write a note to a friend. You don’t need any specific reason to reach out with a note of friendship or gratitude.
8. Dance and move. Getting up for a bathroom break? Dance your way there to loosen up your body and mind.
9. Plan something. Set up a date with your partner or a weekend getaway. Having something to look forward to can do wonders for your mood.

June Produce Guide
Swipe along for some of the fresh produce in season right now.
Eating in-season produce provides more nutrition and more flavor. Produce that's not in season undergoes early picking, cooling, and heating that reduces the flavor. Fruits and vegetables in season spend less time from farm to table, so they maintain much of their nutrition and flavor.
A diet rich in vegetables and fruits can lower blood pressure, reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke, prevent some types of cancer, lower risk of eye and digestive problems, and have a positive effect upon blood sugar, which can help keep appetite in check.

Do You Practice Food Safety When Cooking At Home?
Food safety at home is an important way to protect your family from foodborne illness. Often you can't see, smell or taste the bacteria that may cause illness. Practice these four steps to keep you and your family safe.
🍏 1. Clean—Wash hands and surfaces often. Always make sure to wash your hands and cooking surfaces with warm soapy water for at least 20 seconds before and after preparing food.
🍏 2. Separate—Don't cross-contaminate. Keep raw meat, fish, poultry, eggs away from fresh foods.
🍏 3. Cook—Cook to proper temperatures, checking with a food thermometer.

-Cook ground meats to an internal temperature of 160 °F.
