| Mga Batang Maynila, suspended na po ang pasok mula sa lahat ng antas ng public schools at government offices simula 1:00 PM, August 23, 2022, hanggang bukas, August 24, 2022 dahil sa bagyong 'Florita.'

Offices involved in the provision of health and emergency frontline services, border control, sanitation, disaster and risk reduction management, and other critical services are not included in the said suspension.

The suspension of classes in private schools and work in private offices are left to the discretion of their respective heads.

NEWS ALERT: Sta. Ana Hospital receives the highest ranking among public hospitals in the Metro regarding COVID-19 response and management on Wednesday, August 3.

The local government owned hospital received a 97 out of 100 rating from the Metro Manila Center for Health Development - Health Facility Development and Enhancement Unit (HFDEU), an agency under the Department of Health (DOH).

This rating is the highest amongst all hospitals under the local government units (LGUs) and DOH.

Manila Mayor Maria Sheilah "Honey" Lacuna-Pangan, a doctor by profession, issued a statement over the feat of one of the LGU hospitals in Manila.

"Congratulations sa Sta. Ana Hospital sa pagtanggap ng highest ranking mula sa lahat ng LGU hospitals at National government hospitals sa Metro Manila. Maraming salamat po sa Department of Health dahil sa assessment na ibinigay ninyo sa aming ospital," the Mayor stated.

"Makakaasa po kayo na pagbubutihin pa po ng Manila LGU para magbigay ng quality service para sa ating mga Manilenyo," she added.

Sta. Ana Hospital director Dr. Grace Padilla expressed her joy over the assessment given by the agency.

"My deepest and sincerest thanks to all hardworking staff of Sta. Ana Hospital for garnering highest score among LGU and DOH hospitals," Dr. Padilla stated.

"Sta. Ana Hospital will continue to provide quality service for Manileños while continuing to adhere to the highest standards set by the national agency," she added.

Sta. Ana Hospital receives a perfect score of 20 governance, 15 in quality measurement and improvement, and 10 in facility safety and ER management.

While obtaining a score of 19 out of 20 for ethics rights and patient right, 19 out of 20 for patient safety, and 14 out of 15 for resource management.

The audit and evaluation is mandated by the DOH Memorandum No. 2020-0202 which provides guidelines and adherence with the IPC standards and protocols in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ang biro tuloy ng iba ngayon, “Hindi naman St. Lukes 'yan kundi Shangri-La.” Ayoko po kasi nung “mema” na serbisyo — Me masabi lang, me mapa-piktyuran lang, me magawa lang. Hindi 'yun ang standard ko sa public service.

Hindi pwede sa akin ang "pwede na 'yan." Gagawin na rin naman natin bakit hindi pa natin itodo at ibigay ang pinakamagandang serbisyo? Kapag may pinagawa tayo na pasilidad gusto natin hangga't maari ay first-class service ang ibibigay natin sa taumbayan.
