PBA First Five: Eric Menk
We all miss PBA action but as our community continues to deal with the spread of COVID-19, it's best for all of us to stay at home as much as possible. To help you pass time, check out the second edition of 2OT's First Five Series where we talk to basketball legends, coaches, officials, and media to name their All-Time PBA First Five (PG, SG, SF, PF, and C but we'll allow a certain extent of creativity with the positions). The Rules: Players can only pick those who became their teammates. Coaches can only pick players they coached. Officials, media, and celebrities can pick any player from any era. Our second guest is Eric Menk who was named the PBA Most Valuable Player in 2005. Menk was a direct hire of Tanduay back in 1999 but played most of his career with Barangay Ginebra won four PBA championships. He had a short stint with GlobalPort Batang Pier before closing his storied career with the Alaska Aces, who retired his number 30. Suggestions on who we should ask next?
