A group of aeronautical engineering professors were invited to fly for free on a new aircraft that was just being introduced.
As the door was closing and the plane was about to take off, a voice over the intercom said, “Thank you for your confidence in taking the inaugural flight on this new aircraft. It was designed and built by all of your students over this past year.
All the professors began to unbuckle their seatbelts and make their way to the exit door of the plane, with the exception of one, who remained calmly seated with a smile on his face.
One of the professors who was standing in line to exit the plane asked him why he wasn't getting off of the plane, knowing that the plane was built by some of his recent students.
The Professor replied, “Because they are our students.”
Another professor who was standing close by asked, “So you are sure that you taught your students well enough to build this?
The sitting professor smiled and said, “No, I’m not sure, but I AM sure that it won't fly.”😂😂

The Minister of Finance and Planning, Dr. Bak Barnaba Chol, has this afternoon briefed International Monetary Fund team about the steps taken by his ministry to improve the country’s economy in line with Public Financial Reforms Act.
Among the points put forward by Dr. Bak includes the recent increase in tax conversion rate to 300-South Sudanese Pounds per 1-dollar, a policy aimed at harmonizing the tax rate with the exchange rate and to increase revenue collections.
The Minister also touched on the payment of salaries through a committee and the planned introduction of financial ID cards for public servants to pave way for the rolling out of biometric system of payment. The planned is aimed at cleaning the payroll from ghost-names and implementing the provisions of the Public Financial Management’s eleven priorities, finance ministry’s communication department reported.
IMF’s Niko Hobdari has emphasized the need for cooperation between his team and finance ministry to ensure South Sudan solicit more funds from the global financial institutions and channel them to support the national budget as well and boosting developmental activities in the country.
The International Monetary Fund team has been holding a series of meetings with different financial institutions to review the progress made in the country’s economic sector,the post reads.
